I requested the left rear brake be inspected, as I smelled a distinct "hot" odor emitting from that part of my Jeep Liberty. I was charged for a service that involved removing the brake caliper, removing slides, cleaning rust off bracket,lubricating and installing slides - tested ok. Five days later the same incident occurred while out -of-town on business resulting in an emergency visit to a Goodyear dealer, who informed me that the locked left brake caliper compromised the left front braking system, as well. In most cases the recommended practice is to replace calipers in pairs, rather than just the destroyed one so I elected to replace the calipers, brake pads,and rotors on all four wheels. This resulted in quite a large unexpected expensive that would have been avoided had Braudt Automotive done their job correctly the first time. When I approached the owner, Jamie, he hemmed and hawed saying it really wasn't his fault as the brake worked "just fine" when it was returned to me. I explained that doing business with him over the last 10 years, I was disappointed that no compensation would be made due to his negligence, as well as failure to let me know that the calipers were due to be replaced when they replaced the front braking system last year. To this he replied that it should have been mentioned, but wasn't. I'm utterly dismayed at the level of service from this establishment and customer service and recommend avoidance....extremely disappointed
