customer had to pay for that since the customer had someone else work on the vehicle and did not bring it to the business. The customer has since placed a stop payment on the check for the charge she was charged.

Regards,
[redacted] I had repeatedly told the [redacted] of the business, that the vehicle was not running properly. After the no charge repair was done the next day the vehicle did the same thing . I called the company and had it towed in . I was informed that the distributor was rotated but my neighbor did nothing to the distributor other than try to tighten it down where the screws had been stripped and help me try to get the vehicle started. Subsequently when the repair was done I paid and the next morning loaded and ready for my move the car would not start.. I called the business and was informed they would try to get to it, but they were busy etc..I had to move .. my house was empty , utilities were off and I needed to be on the road. I could not have any more delays. I took it to another shop they got it running, but did not have the parts to fix the initial breakdown till after the weekend. I left and broke down on the turn pike. I do have the report from the other auto repair shop which shows issues on the vehicle that were not fixed by Brays Fork. I have used the business many times over the years and was very dissatisfied with the cavalier attitude and the immense amount of money I had spent for the same repair. I would have not gone this route if the issue had been addressed or even if they had said they couldnt fix it.
I ended up towing the vehicle (not running anymore), having to rent a car, a hotel overnight and more expenses that were not planned for due to the inability of the business to fix or refer my vehicle. I have just had to purchase another vehicle, and while I realize they are a business, I feel that they were not honest with me and did not fix my car, simply bandaided it to get me out the door. That is why I stopped payment on the check. If it had been another issue with the vehicle . I would not have , but it was the same one I paid to fix after the initial problem ..All of the work on the vehicle had been done by this shop to that point.
Review: I had used Brays Fork for numerous repairs over the years I lived in Virginia. I was relocating to Illinois and needed to get my vehicle a tune up and miscellaneous other maintenance level repairs. My vehicle was taken to the shop (by me) and all of the items I requested were done. The car has not run since then . The tune up was done in May and since then I have had it towed three times. I have talked with the owner about issues and how much this was costing .. he assured me he fixed the problem. The next day ? Towed again ..Went back to the shop. let the owner know I was relocating on the weekend and needed the vehicle running. I was assured he had fixed the problem. After time and more money, brought the car home finished packing and getting ready to head out.. vehicle wont start. I had spoken with him on many occasions regarding issues I had about the repairs, as he is the professional I took his word that issues were addressed. We headed out and ended up breaking down on the way.. had to pay for tow, hotel, rental car and tow dolly to get my vehicle to its new home . I subsequently stopped payment on the check for the last repairs he had done. I want no further contact with him , and I feel that he has knowingly used my naivete regarding auto repairs to pat me on the head and send me away.Desired Settlement: I simply want the owner to not contact me , and to hopefully realize that you cannot " fudge" repairs. It would have been the right thing for him to say .. I cant fix ti , I recommend you tow the vehicle or get rid of it .
