As per your conversation with Mr S[redacted], please let us know when the job can be scheduled to complete the agreed items (see below). Also please confirm that as per the same conversation, sanding and finishing of the whole project is not going to occur.
 
·         Brazilian Floors is going to take up and replace flooring in the Family area that was discussed during the meeting. (approx. 40 SF)

Review: Brazilian Floors LLC installed new floors in my house in Feb 2012, everything was supposed to be Brazilian cherry hardwood floor and same kind shoe molding. When they finished the job, I questioned that some of the shoe molding looks like oak and not Brazilian cherry (Even the builder was witness to this). Brazilian Floors Owner told all Brazilian Hardwood change color and promised that everything is Brazilian Cherry wood.

Problem 1: Within 8 months, there were lot of cracks and we called the company and they sent a few guys to fix it (April 2013) and promised that everything is fine. On the contrary, within a few months again cracks started showing up. When we called there was no response until April 2014. Finally Brazilian Floors LLC sent their Manager Ruben Caicedo, he came and after seeing the issues, said we are out of the warranty period and would not do the work and wanted to charge to fix the issues.

Problem 2: All the shoe molding installed was OAK and not Brazilian cherry, this was validated by Ruben Caicedo (April 2014) and when asked to fix that also they said warranty period is over (Email from Ruben Caicedo).

How can the warranty be over for cheating a customer by installing wrong material, when I paid for expensive material (Cherry Shoe Molding).

They cheated me by installing OAK Shoe Molding, which was stained to look like Brazilian Cherry. Brazilian Cherry gets darker by age and OAK remains the same color, we noticed the floor had become darker but the OAK shoe molding remained the same. There is no way a customer could have noticed this within the warranty period.Desired Settlement: Replace the Shoe Molding and Install the Correct Shoe Molding (Brazilian Cherry)

Repair the cracks and re-finish the floors after installing the shoe Molding
