Brazilian Marble & Granite Corp

I chose this company through word-of-mouth. The first slab they tried to bring in the house they broke at the front door. The second slab they brought in the house, they were four hours late for the appointment. The fabricator/ installer said his truck broke down. The slab had a strong smell of resin. The original appointment was for 4 o'clock. They finally finished installing the granite at by 9 o'clock at night. They installed the granite and a few hours later I noticed in a glare looking like a crack. I further investigated the remainder of the slab near the sink and noticed two more cracks that were doctored up and glued together. I immediately stopped payment on the second part of the check. I called them and insisted that they installed the slab they broke at the door. The store manager Insisted that he personally threw away the first slab. I requested him to come see the cracks himself. He came to the house and saw the cracks. He then said he would guarantee I'd be 100% happy after he went back and talk to his owner. He came back and said now instead of having one full slab around my sink, I must have two pieces joined with the seem. I told him this wasn't the original plan that I agreed to when I agreed to paying the price he wanted. I told him that they knowingly installed a piece of broken granite that was glued together with cracks in it and tried to charge me full price. A trustworthy business should have told me they broke the second slab and then should have offered me a discount before ever installing it. They instead installed the broken piece hoping I wouldn't notice the cracks. I caught them in this fraud and now he is only willing to offer a $500 reduction in price. I refused and they are threatening with a lien.
