I bought a Rio Grande .45/70 it was defective, brought it back to the shop I bought it from the next day, didn't even have it 24hr. Was told it would take 6-8 weeks, ok fine. Six months later after calling many times, I was told it was not repairable. I played $475 for it and they will only give me $375 in credit, once again fine, but the only gun the have in that price range is a .22. They must have bad quality control, now I'm out of luck. I hope their not in business much longer!!

I apologize for the experience and the time frame. Your SO will be looked in to and you will be contacted by phone NLT Wednesday 4/15/20

I am one of many that had a Rossi revolver recalled due to a safety issue. I have had dozens of contacts with Rossi since August 2018 and today 4/8/ 2020. Rossi first told me my revolver would be repaired and returned to me in 15 to 18 days. Repeated attempts to contact them resulted in unanswered emails, phone calls not completed, and promises over the phone were not successful. I got a phone call the last week of Feb. 2020 . The person on the other line said my gun could not be repaired and I would receive a Taurus mod.605 as a replacement. Calls to their number resulted in a message this number has been discontinued. Three days ago, I had a message on my phone about my replacement revolver and to call a phone number. I called, and got a recording " this promotion has expired" I feel they have stolen my revolver.

I cannot get thru to customer service, I am on hold indefinitely. I want to know when I will receive my rifle back? Ref*
I returned rifle to you 10-18-2019. I sent complete rifle and 3 small broken pieces that caused the gun to jam. When I cleared the action the pieces fell out on the shooting table. I called December 2, 2019 and was told they shot it 20 times and had no trouble. I ask then where did the 4 metal pieces come from? They told me they would email gunsmith to disassemble the gun to inspect the action. I have tried to contact customer service many times in the last week only to be put on hold. Sometimes I stayed on hold for up to 45 minutes. One place on the internet I saw that it shows permanently closed . Please let me know. I want rifle back, hopefully repaired. If you are out of business the recording should say so. Being put on hold indefinitely is not right. Ref* cell# is ***. Email is ***. Please let me know. Thanks

Desired Outcome

I only want gun inspected and repaired

I apologize for the experience and time frame. Your service order will be looked into for an update, and you will be called by phone, NLT 4/6/20.

Customer Response • Apr 03, 2020

I am satisfied, Case closed.

Rossi can't be contacted at all.
I had an ffl send my gun to rossi for a firing pin that broke three times, rossi tells me there is a lawsuit against them for a faulty drop test and my gun (model R35202) is part of the safety issue, that was NOVEMBER 2018, they have had my gun (ser.# ***) for 16 months, their website doesn't work and no one ever, ever, answers their phone, this is ridiculous.

Desired Outcome

Rossi has had my gun (***) for 16 months, either repair it or refund it.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I've been contacted by taurus firearms, they said they will replace my rossi for a new taurus (4-6weeks), I accept this resolution but I'll not satisfy my complaint until I've received the replacement.

Repair of R35102 pistol has not been completed in the time frame stated and I have been unable to get any status from the company
I shipped my R35102 model 38 Special pistol to the company under their warranty repair program. The serial number of the pistol returned is *** and was received by the company on 9/23/2019. The Service Order associated with this warranty repair is ***, and the Work Order ID is ***. I have been unable to get any status on the repair and cannot get anyone to answer the phone, and I can find no e-mail address to address this to the company. It was stated in the customer service letter that the repair should take approximately 12 weeks to complete. I would just like to have the pistol returned to me as it was shipped.

Desired Outcome

Return the firearm in the earliest possible time frame in the condition as it was shipped. No further repair is needed. I just want the pistol returned.

BrazTech International Response • Apr 02, 2020

I apologize for the experience and time frame. There is an update available, we called a few times to provide the update, but we will call again NLT Friday 4/3/20.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
I have been only contacted one time, and unfortunately I was away from the phone. The call back number given on the voice mail was incorrect, and when I called the customer service number I was on hold for an unacceptable amount of time ( which happened every time I tried in the past to get status on the repair). Again, I just want the firearm returned as it was sent. Six months is more than enough time to repair a simple revolver.

BrazTech International Response • Apr 09, 2020

I apologize for the experience. An attempt has been made to reach out to you, via phone, to provide an update. However you will be contacted, by phone, no later than 04/14/20.

Warranty work not completed, merchandise not returned and no communication
There was a warranty recall on my revolver, which I sent in for repair. They have had it over 8 months with no word back. When I inquire online it says the claim number is no good. When I talk to them they say it's in inspection, that was months ago. No they won't even respond to emails. I'm very disappointed in their service an dmm demeanor.

Desired Outcome

My revolver had not been fired more than 5 times, and was in pristine condition. I would either like it promptly return in the same condition with the repairs completed, or a new replacement.

BrazTech International Response • Apr 02, 2020

I apologize for this experience and the time frame. In review of your service order, you have been provided an update, and as agreed the next steps have begun. You will be contacted NLT Monday 4/6/20, by phone, with an update.

Recall on my Rossi 357 was approved for repair. Sent Sept. 25, 2019. Cannot get any update. Have no revolver and no information. Can't contact.
My recall repair was approved with work order *** under the enhanced warranty with confirmation code *** for my Rossi 357 modeel R46202 serial number ***. Sent to Braztech International with their provided shipping label on September 25, 2019. Received confirmation. Rossi cannot help, Braztech is doing the repairs for this class action recall. Directed to a website to find repair status, the website leads to an error page, not to a status update. Calling Braztech is either an eternal hold or a statement that "there are no customer service agents available, call back later...click." Emails sent confirm that my revolver is "being inspected." They have now had my revolver for over 5 months (as of today, 167 days) and I cannot get in touch with anyone, cannot get any real status update and do not even know where my revolver is nor when to expect it to be returned. This is horrible customer service. It seems to be intentional that customers cannot get in touch with this company or obtain any repair status.

Desired Outcome

My desired outcome would be to have a status update and a replacement revolver in kind or my repaired revolver shipped immediately. After 5 and a half months, a solution should be identified and put into action. Please send my repaired revolver or a replacement immediately.

BrazTech International Response • Apr 02, 2020

I apologize for the time frame and experience. In review of your Service Order you were contacted and an agreement made towards resolution.

Customer Response • Apr 13, 2020

I was offered a new replacement revolver in kind to be shipped to my local gun dealer of choice. It is supposed to arrive in 6-8 weeks, which is sometime in late May 2020. I will update when it arrives.

BrazTech International Response • Apr 13, 2020

I apologize for the experience, have reviewed your Service Order, and our replacement team will be moving forward with your replacement.

Customer Response • May 18, 2020

After many months, I did receive a brand new replacement revolver on May 12 and the following day received the $50 inconvenience check, so my complaint has been satisfied.

I returned my my firearm for repair as a part of a recall and it hasn't been repaired and, or, replaced.
I received a letter from Rossi that my firearm (serial # *** ) was received on 10/08/2019. After many attempts at trying to get a status update, I was finally told that my firearm wasn't repairable. I agreed to another model as a replacement . I was told to have my local gun dealer email them their FFL with my service order (#***) attached--- which I have done.
I've tried to reach out since then to see if they have the necessary info in order proceed . No one answers the phone and today I discovered their their phone # is not working.
This has gone on too long. I'd really like for them to follow through on their obligations.

Desired Outcome

I'd like them to replace my firearm With the Taurus model we agreed upon and to update me where we are in the process.

BrazTech International Response • Apr 02, 2020

I apologize for the time frame and experience. We will look into your Service Order and contact you by phone, NLT Monday 4/6/20.

Customer Response • Apr 13, 2020

Yes, they contacted me on the said date-- but, were unable to provide an exact date as to when my firearm will be sent out. They said "possibly " a couple of weeks. We shall see. Thank you

BrazTech International Response • Apr 30, 2020

I apologize for the experience. Your comments will be notated and forwarded to the correct department.

(The consumer indicated he/she DID NOT accept the response from the business.)
They have done nothing since I last spoke with them. They said the delivery of my firearm to the licensed firearms dealer I selected was approximately 2 weeks out-- that deadline has since passed. This has been going on now for 7 months. Very disappointed. The calls I received from them were only because the pressure the Revdex.com has put on them. So far , however, they have failed to deliver.

Rossi received my Rossi firearm ser. no.*** on 9/25/2019 on a safety recall issue . I was told it would take Approx. 12 weeks.
I have tried numerous times to contact this company to find out the repair status but never received a response. They do not answer the phone or e-mail inquires. I want this firearm back either in the same condition or repaired as was stated originally. I will get this firearm back whatever action it takes.

Desired Outcome

Return the firearm.

My complaint against Rossi firearm's is still not resolved. I agreed to a phone call only. They informed me they would send a replacement firearm yet they do not. No response, no time frame as to when it will be sent. It's been like this for seven months, no action, no response, no effort.
This company has many complaints, they should be investigated by your states attorney General. If not I think I know why.

I have sent *** a model*** revolver for the recall repair. They sent me a letter saying it was received on 09/25/2019, and it should take about 12 weeks to process. I have not received any info from *** since then. The website address for checking the progress of my repair *** does not work. It leads to a 404 Error page. No one answers their phones either.

Hello All, A great site to file your complaint is ***
Let others know what a rippoff Braz-Tech International (parent company to Rossi, Taurus and Heritage) is.
I'm still waiting for my repaired revolver. Can't get through to anyone with the four different phone numbers I have. Select the appropriate options and then listen to acoustic guitar music the rest of the time you're on hold.

I have a number of rossi firearms. Twice I have ordered stocks or forearms for one or more of my guns. Twice I have gotten the wrong item even after explaining in detail what I wanted. The last time Nov. 18 I ordered a full size buttstock and was sent a youth sized one after specifically stating that I wanted a full size stock. After several calls I learned that they knowingly sent the wrong one because they didn't have the correct one. I was told to return the stock and I would receive credit for it. It has been approximately a month and still no credit. There is one cust. serv. lady that has been trying to help me but still no credit. The people taking the orders don't seem to know the product line. Rossi products are just OK but ordering from them is a nightmare. This is clearly a management failure.

***, Three Rivers, Mi

Hi All,
More than 24 months I waiting for repair rossi rio grande rifle (finger lever), ( still waiting for repair), (brand new rifle under factory warranty), no one ever called me more than 24 months to tell me what's going on with my rifle. I do not know at all what's going on. Whenever I call they tell me to wait for parts. I'll never buy anything from Rossi. Bad experience with these customer service people and rossi product. >>>WORST,WORST,WORST "BRAZTECH INTERNATIONAL COMPANY" in Miami,FL.

I sent a damaged revolver to Rossi, they informed me it was in repairable. I was did appointed and assumed I was out of luck, (total loss). But happily, the customer service agent told me they would be replacing it. As they no longer produce that particular firearm any longer, I was told to choose from four revolvers to replace it with. Turns out I will be receiving a better revolver than I originally purchased. SUPER! customer service. Rossi rocks!
