I have reviewed the response submitted by the business and have determined that the response does not satisfy or resolve my issues and/or concerns in reference to complaint # ***
I had the building inspector, numerous licensed contractors and a representative from e portfolio (shingle and siding manufacturer) inspect the work that this company completed on our home They all came to the same conclusion Installation was not correct, building codes were not always followed and an over all very poor and sloppy workmanshipWe have already experienced some water damage from lack of flashing and incorrect installation This job was a complete disaster and we are out over 26,plus damages We will need to strip all the siding and most of the trim in order to properly insulate, protect our home from water & insect damage, and to have a positive cosmetic outcome Could not be more disappointed in his response and lack of urgency He is also currently in violation of statute 93A as he failed to respond to us within days

To Whom it may concern:BRC Renovations, LLC had a contract with client who filled a complaint # [redacted] against us to redo mainly vinyl siding, among other things. The payment terms were supposed to be determined at completion percentage, and to be stipulated by BRC Renovations, LLC according to...
our contract. We received 1/3 deposit at signing, after work was progressing at more than 50% we received praised and additional payments as requested by BRC. When work was at 90% completed and BRC submitted invoice requesting additional payment, the client asked us to stop working stating false claims against things that we had finished in initial stages. The client even states that we broke a glass screen door, which was knock down by wind but we said we would pay for since [we removed it out of place.Electrical accusations was not our responsibility as for the home owner hired the electrician working on property doing few things she wanted. All trims were installed correctly. All other items that may not have been done, according to her accusations are due to the fact that the client ordered BRC to stop working, and according to our work process methods, we had not reached such point. The client simply does not want to pay percentage until the work is completed to possibly negotiate a final payment, which was not what we agreed originally.Thank you,[redacted]BRC Renovations, LLC[redacted] [redacted]
