August, I attempted to reach you by telephone 2 to 3 times per day for approximately one week. Unfortunately, the telephone number you provided was unable to accept voicemail messages and my repeated attempts to reach you were unsuccessful. I have read a copy of your Revdex.com statement and am happy to address your concerns: 1.       Breadsmith takes great pride in providing our customers with fresh artisan breads. As such, our French Baguettes are only sold in grocery stores for one day, and our standard operating procedure is to pull any unsold French Baguettes from the shelves as part of our daily delivery process. 2.       Our European-style artisan breads are typically characterized for their crispy crusts, in part due to the absence of any dough conditioners, additives or preservatives in our bread recipes, as well as the steam injected oven we use in our bakery. 3.       Contrary to the inaccurate information you received from V. Richards employee, our delivery drivers do not “feel” each loaf to determine whether or not it is fresh. As mentioned earlier, unsold French Baguettes are pulled from the shelves each day, and our pre-packaged pan-shape loaves are all marked with a dated sticker. 4.       I also share your concern over the response you received from V. Richards, and spoke to a member of their management team at the time to correct and ensure that their staff members were not providing inaccurate information to other customers. They assured me that they would pass my concerns along to the appropriate individuals within their organization.
