I made one order with Derm Exclusive and had an incorrect order sent timesI finally got the correct order for the first shipment and paid for it in three installmentsNow they are billing me for not paying it and trying to charge me double what they had told me it was going to beI just spoke with the collection agency and tried to explain to them that they charged me way too muchThey were very rude and said I had to pay it anyway even if I misunderstood the amountI told him I wasn't going to pay it because that's not what I was told it was going to beI have never had such a Negative dealing with a company beforeThey are horrible and must not train your people at all

I just received an invoice from breakthrough in beauty. I didn't even know what it was for and had to investigate to find out if I even purchased what they claimed I purchased. It seems that it was the Derm exclusive products. As you know you order these things and they bill your card for payments for these products. I cancelled last month (July) because my daughter is selling another product so Im trying that one. Long story short I get this invoice for non-payment of some remaining balance...again its been 1 month and if there was a balance they were within their rights to go ahead and bill the same card they had been billing until the product was paid off...They never called etc. just sent notice that if I did not pay they would "take action". I have not changed credit card companies etc...did not refuse to pay...just bill the card like you have been doing until the agreed to payment is done. Whats more is that I tried to call the number and it hung up on me twice. Forget it- bad business!!! Good products though.

This company caused me months of grief. My experience with them spanned the time from March 2015 to December 2015.

The TV ad is deceptive in that you cannot get off the phone with their representatives before agreeing to "ongoing" shipments. Once that happens, cancelling becomes impossible. I called the company and wrote them cancelling shipments both ways(phone & written letter). They sent the shipments anyway, and then continued to bill my credit card. When I wrote "Return To Sender; Membership Cancelled" on the unopened package and handed it to the postal clerk, Breakthrough in Beauty claimed that because I did not pay to have their package shipped back and no tracking proof, that they never received it.

I tried changing my credit card number but because from the first call "ongoing" was agreed to even though they claimed you could cancel anytime, the charges followed into my new number.

A side point is that the free "fill 'n freeze" product pictured on the TV is featured as being full size. In reality it is half the size of the normal product. Just seemed deceptive to me.

The products are okay. But not that great. Definitely not worth the 9 mos. of grief, I would not do business with this company again.
