We are prevented by HIPPA and Federal Confidentiality Laws from discussing any client without a signed releaseI can state, however, that we never accuse any client of drinking alcohol, and that our program contract states that anyone who stops attending and fails to contact us for consecutive days will be discharged
I am rejecting this response because:*** *** is not telling the truthShe absolutely accused me of being drunk by text when I contacted her to tell her I was too sick to attend one dayEven after she accused me of being drunk I continued to call and leave messages to let her know that I was still not over the illnesses I was dealing with and she never called me backI also sent several text messages to let her know that I was still too sick to attend and she never respondedAfter several weeks of attempting contact and feeling abandoned, I finally realized that she was never going to respondI have been very upset and worried about this so it has taken me a while to file this complaint.I don't feel like I should have been discharged from the program because I was sick and she failed to respond to my multiple calls and textsI was hoping that I could've maybe done a modified program until I was feeling better, but never got the chance to work anything out - because she refused to make contactIt is very unprofessional to ignore a Client when they are requesting communication to find a solution so they can continue a program during an unforeseen events (such as illness). She failed at that part of the service that she should have performedOnce I realized that she was never going to respond to me, I lost faith in her and realized that I could not return to a program run by someone who has no problem treating me like I don't matterIf I had not lost faith in her and the program I would not have stopped attending or making contact. It is my position that *** ***'s actions are the reason I stopped attending and attempting communicationI believe that she broke the contract when she failed to return my attempts at communicationI should not be responsible for co-pays (actually $not $90) or the price of a program that I was essentially unable to complete due to illness and her unwillingness to be professional and make contact and work with me to make arrangements to complete the program. I would like a FULL REFUND of my co-pays ($70) and be relieved of any further monetary responsibilities in regards to this matter
I mailed a copy of this signed Discharge Policy, as well as the discharge summary marked Paid In Full, to this person last week
I am rejecting this response because:Cory was disrespectful first by accusing me of being drunk and even further by refusing to return my calls and texts, so she broke the contract. I am entitled to a refund of my co-pays because she did not uphold her own contract, which should include being respectful and communicating with Clients
