[redacted] *** [redacted] Response of Breck Laundry, LLC to Complain ID: [redacted] The undersigned is one of three members of Breck laundry, LLC, that owns the Breckenridge Laundromat referenced in the complaint.All three of my “partners” reside in Colorado SpringsWe manage Breckenridge Laundromat, remotely through others.We first became aware of this complaint on or about July 18, through the follsending of the notification by the Revdex.comThere was a glitch in our company mail dispersal of earlier mailingsI apologize for any inconvenience that this as caused.On December 27, 2016, we had a young man who was responsible for overseeing the laundromat, including customer complaintsHis phone number was clearly identified in the laundromatWe now have a local company that manages the laundromatIt also has a number posted for complaints.Upon receiving this notification, I contacted the young man for an explanation and he sent me the attached an email version which I’ve converted to PDFHis account is different than the the complainant, and he indicates that in fact she was paid the claim amount of $1.25, from his own personal funds months agoHe did this despite the fact that video evidence did not support the claimI refer you to the attached document for the full explanation from his perspective.With that said, perhaps there was a glitch and the complaintant did not see, or receive the $As a gesture of good faith, today, I personally directed staff to send five dollars of my own cash to the complaintant at the address indicated in the complaint.I hope this resolves the matterI can be reached at the number indicated in my email[redacted] [redacted]

I am rejecting this response because: the person in charge of resolving complaints says they gave up on trying to resolve this because they were tired of dealing with it. That is a poor excuse for not resolving something. They clearly had evidence I never received the check since it was never cashed and I did make contact again. As to the no video evidence, maybe they didn't have a camera pointed at the soap machine as I attempted to pay for soap at the soap machine three times. If the person is mailing checks from their personal account to cover complaints they clearly are either not empowered to resolve complaints or are doing a poor job resolving complaints and trying to cover their tracks. I have seen no indication that the owners are interested in running a trustworthy business; merely that they are interested in running a business to get money.
