No loaner had my car still from last Tuesday
Brought my car to Bredemann ford of Glenview on Tuesday. For issue with my car that covered under the recall. Service writer said car is unsafe to drive and no loaners. And he'll put me in one as soon as possible. Went today and yesterday plenty of loaners outside and service says we don't have any.. the dumb service rider must think I'm blind or a rd.. all week was it was hard to get to work. And next week I have lose 2 days of work because no car to get to and from work.. thank you Ford to putting faulty parts on your cars and Bredemann for screwing your customer.

If I could give a negative review I wouldThis place is the Worst Ford dealership in the area! I have brought my last Fords I have owned to Bredemann for ServiceI have not purchased a car from them since my father-in-law runs a car dealership in Milwaukee, WII was always fairly happy with the service I have done for the most partThey always provided me with a loaner, which I thought, was out of respect that a family member runs a Ford Dealership in Wisconsin About Years ago, I started having issues with the service provided on my vehiclesThe first was a battery issue where they said they inspected my Ford Edge, but they allowed the battery to corrode the compartment, and than tried blaming it on me and wanted to charge me almost $to fix itI bring in my car ON TIME/ON MILEAGE for its serviceIt took me hours of fighting with Joe Bredemann to get them to admit they didn't do good enough inspections, and than they proceeded to fix my car Just this past week, I called to schedule a Works service and to check out my front right brake, which they replaced in January of Last yearThey said, they will NOT PROVIDE A LOANER TO ME ANY MORE SINCE I DID NOT PURCHASE MY VEHICLE THEREI didn't have time to wait for hours for them to check my car, so I got into an argument with Jim in there service departmentJim than Transferred me to Steve the sales manager, and his excuse was that "this is Joe Bredemann's decision, and we have more important customers that purchased their automobiles from us, so why should they give me a loaner?"I mentioned that I have had service done here for almost 10-years now, to no avail After arguing and being so mad, I called the Service Manager at Highland Park Ford and he had me bring my car in immediately after explaining the Brake Issue and the customer service issue at BredemannThey provided me with a loaner at NO COST, WITHOUT ARGUEMENT! It ends up, that Bredemann really screwed up my brake work done in January of 'They said it was covered under the warranty and fixed itAlso, I was getting close to needing new tires, so I decided to buy the complete set from them since they were so accommodatingThey also did the Works oil change service and everything else In summation, DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM ANY OF THE BREDEMANN DEALERSHIPS ESPECIALLY THE FORD ONE!!! THEY ARE RUDE, UNFEELING, BRUTAL PEOPLE TO WORK WITHI WILL NEVER EVER GIVE THEM A REFERRAL AND EVEN THOUGH HP FORD IS OUT OF MY WAY GOING TO MY OFFICE, I WOULD RATHER BRING MY CAR TO A GAS STATION FOR SERVICE OVER THEM DO NOT GO THERE, DO NOT BUY OR SERVICE A VEHICLE THERE!!!

Dear Revdex.com, we responded to this customer several times, both on the phone as well as by email recently.
Here is the status. Mr *** shopped for several weeks with us for a new Transit. We were unable to finalize a deal with him until Ford
announced a special short term Labor Day weekend promotion that changed the incentives in effect prior from 4.9% for months, plus a $upfit incentive that had been in place for many months, to a 0% for months special rate. When the deal was announced in the last few days of August, Ford did not indicate in the program announcement that the separate $upfit program could not be combined as it had been with this new rate. It was silent on this issue. We discussed this additional upfit program with Mr *** at that time, but he had to do several things, including getting his business registered in the State Of Illinois to be even considered for this additional $1000. We told him that we would try to help get him approved for this extra $1000, but it was ultimately Ford Motor Company's decision
Just a few days later, but after Mr *** had taken delivery of his vehicle, but weeks before he submitted all the necessary forms to qualify for this extra $1000, Ford Motor Company sent out a clarification to all its dealers that these two programs could not be combined. We submitted the incentive request in late September after receiving all the information from Mr ***, initially received confirmation from Ford that the extra $rebate was approved, and then waited for payment from Ford. When the payment was not sent to us, we followed up with Ford for further clarification as to why they had not paid us. When we tried to re-submit it, we got a rejection notice, suggesting the 0% for months and the extra $were not compatible.
So here is where it stands now: We have submitted an appeal on Mr ***'s behalf to Ford Motor Company's national incentive group on two fronts. First, the initial program announcement was not clear, and we deliver the vehicle to him prior to the clarification. Second, if the vehicle would have come from the factory with the upfit shelves and bins already installed, it would have qualified. Ford only excluded upfits done after delivery. The appeal is still in process, and he knows this. I have spoken to him myself. Ford will make the ultimate decision as to whether they make an exception. Since it is their rebate program, not ours, their decision is finalAs soon as we hear from Ford we will let Mr *** know. If they do approve it, we will send him the check immediately. Please feel free to call me with any further questions. *** ***

If I could give a negative review I would. This place is the Worst Ford dealership in the area! I have brought my last 6 Fords I have owned to Bredemann for Service. I have not purchased a car from them since my father-in-law runs a car dealership in Milwaukee, WI. I was always fairly happy with the service I have done for the most part. They always provided me with a loaner, which I thought, was out of respect that a family member runs a Ford Dealership in Wisconsin.

About 2.5 Years ago, I started having issues with the service provided on my vehicles. The first was a battery issue where they said they inspected my Ford Edge, but they allowed the battery to corrode the compartment, and than tried blaming it on me and wanted to charge me almost $2300 to fix it. I bring in my car ON TIME/ON MILEAGE for its service. It took me 3 hours of fighting with Joe Bredemann to get them to admit they didn't do good enough inspections, and than they proceeded to fix my car.

Just this past week, I called to schedule a Works service and to check out my front right brake, which they replaced in January of Last year. They said, they will NOT PROVIDE A LOANER TO ME ANY MORE SINCE I DID NOT PURCHASE MY VEHICLE THERE. I didn't have time to wait for 1.5 hours for them to check my car, so I got into an argument with Jim in there service department. Jim than Transferred me to Steve the sales manager, and his excuse was that "this is Joe Bredemann's decision, and we have more important customers that purchased their automobiles from us, so why should they give me a loaner?". I mentioned that I have had service done here for almost 10-years now, to no avail.

After arguing and being so mad, I called the Service Manager at Highland Park Ford and he had me bring my car in immediately after explaining the Brake Issue and the customer service issue at Bredemann. They provided me with a loaner at NO COST, WITHOUT ARGUEMENT!

It ends up, that Bredemann really screwed up my brake work done in January of '15. They said it was covered under the warranty and fixed it. Also, I was getting close to needing new tires, so I decided to buy the complete set from them since they were so accommodating. They also did the Works oil change service and everything else.

In summation, DO NOT BUY A CAR FROM ANY OF THE BREDEMANN DEALERSHIPS ESPECIALLY THE FORD ONE!!! THEY ARE RUDE, UNFEELING, BRUTAL PEOPLE TO WORK WITH. I WILL NEVER EVER GIVE THEM A REFERRAL AND EVEN THOUGH HP FORD IS OUT OF MY WAY GOING TO MY OFFICE, I WOULD RATHER BRING MY CAR TO A GAS STATION FOR SERVICE OVER THEM.

DO NOT GO THERE, DO NOT BUY OR SERVICE A VEHICLE THERE!!!
