To Whom it may concern, This is *** *** from Joe Cruisers, located at *** *** Hwy, ***, SC I am writing in response to complaint ID# ***The following are the facts as we know themThe customer, *** ***, bought a over the rail(the liner covers the tops of the
sides of the bed of the truck) drop in bed liner which we installed around the first of the year which cost $plus taxApproximately months later he ordered bed rails for his truckHe did not want us to install them saying he would install them himself, which he did on top of the over the rail bed linerWhich is something we would not have done and would have told him not to do it had we known he was putting them on top of an over the rail linerWe see many customers and have no way of knowing what someone bought months earlier unless they tell us or we see the truckAs the temperature rises the plastic bed liner expands with the heatWhen the rails were bolted down on the ends, the plastic has no where to go so it bucks up in the middle and in places not bolted downThe customer further screwed more bolts in the bedliner and in his truck causing further problems with his liner and railsAs far as we can see his only remedy would be to remove his bed liner, buy an under rail bedliner and put bed caps on his truckThe cost to him would be $for the drop in liner, fOR plastic bed caps or $for aluminum capsIf he purchases the products we won't charge for installationHis other choice would be to remove the liner and do a spray on liner*** says he could repair the holes he made in his truckA short bed over rail liner cost $Following the installation of either we would then replace his rails on his truck at no chargeWe hate the customer has had a bad experience but he made choices that we were unaware of and we can't pay for his mistakesHowever, we will be happy to try to help him in the ways suggested above at no cost of labor*** *** Joe Cruisers

to youPer your instruction above, I am faxing you this response.To Mr***,We are so sorry that your experience with Joe Cruisers turned out different than you expectedWe honestly try hard everyday to do right by our customers.If there is something we do wrong we make it our policy to make it rightWe assessed your claims against us and we do not believe we caused the problemOur reasons are as follows:We installed headlights on your vehicle and no type of wiring work was done on your vehicle by usThe bulbs were twist out and twist the new bulbs in placeThe wire cutters were yellow...ours are all redIt also highly unlikely that a thin set of wire clippers could do the damage that you say was done to your vehicleIt appeared that the truck had been lifted because it had inch tiresWhen a vehicle is lifted they replace the Pitman armCertain replacement Pitman arms are under recall because the pin located inside the arm can shear off due to a "reverse bending fatigue condition" resulting in a total loss of steering control(NHTSA Vehicle Safety Recalls)You also stated to our salesman that you had your vehicle worked on at another business just down the street only a couple days before visiting us; meaning we were not the only ones to have access to the vehicleWe did not install a grill on your vehicleYou had an old one on it that you wanted us to repair but we did not think it was repairableWe were unable to tighten or make any changes to the grillConsidering all the facts, we do not believe we harmed the vehicle in anyway, therefore, we refused to repair it.Joe Cruisers
