[redacted] first came to my office on 6/7/16 for ongoing pain on a year on a previously root canaled tooth. She had been to 2 other dentists who saw nothing wrong. I spent many visits with the patient always accommodating her when she phoned for emergency appointments and was able to diagnose the...

problem and refer to a specialist who retreated the problem. The office staff and myself were always courteous and professional with her. She then began having pain on her lower right where she had old fillings, I removed the fillings and underlying decay and placed 2 new fillings. The patient was fine then became sensitive where the fillings had been placed. It was explained to her that the fillings were deep however they seemed to be ok, nothing could be detected. The patient was next seen for a complete examination and cleaning ( please note from 6/7/16 - 1/9/17 we had never done a complete exam and were treating the problems she was having). The patient even went to an endodontist and was told the lower right looked fine. To this point the patient was told on multiple occasions, beginning on 9/12/16 that she was clenching and grinding her teeth and needed to wear a night guard every night because the symptoms she was having were related to her jaw muscles. The patient did not. The new crown on #13 was cemented on 2/20/17. Everything was checked and [redacted] was advised if there were any problems to let us know. She phoned our office a few days later and was very upset and rude to my receptionist, actually hanging up on us after being put on hold to locate her chart. When Lorna phoned her back, [redacted] was arguing on the phone that she was getting food between her teeth and had no time to come back to our office and wanted her money back. I have been practicing dentistry for 30 years and have and will always go out of my way to please patients. If something is not to a patients satisfaction, it will be corrected

I am rejecting this response because: his office staff Lorna was the one that was rude and disrespectful and did not tell her I wanted my money back then. I did it through a letter that I later sent to the Dr and a complaint I filed to my insurance. I actually ended up having that tooth canal re-done and a rooth canal on March 8 on the lower right tooth where he did the fillings. I want to note that the main reason I did not return was due to lornas behavior and the fact that I never heard back from the doctor in response to my call and letter was dissapointing.
