Billing?
Where can I pay my monthly bill online?

Dear Dr [redacted] - I was only stating the cancellation policy of which is on the agreement you signed on 10-6- I did not want it to come across like I was arguing with you I will mail refund check for June dues Please give your new mailing address to receive refundThank you and have a wonderful day!

This is a copy of the agreement [redacted] signed with BrendaAthletic Club On the back of the agreement under Article 4: Suspension andTermination of Membership - Section Voluntary Cancellation states writtennotification days prior to date of said cancellation is required Thankyou, ***

Company states: We have contacted the customer and have refunded them as well

Revdex.com Northeast California: I have attached the agreement *** *** signed on 6-27-with Brenda Athletic Club in Modesto and as you can see it is not a month to month but a month agreement. The second document which *** *** also signed is a member request to be put
on hold for six months for $a month, which started 10-1-2014. Thank you

I am rejecting this response because:The business has failed to address the basis of my complaint. I requested a month to month membership for the duration of the summer months. The business is hiding behind paperwork, and not explaining or addressing how the summer month temporary membership turned into a month membership. This lack of an explanation is itself suspect. The paperwork presented by the company is suspect and was altered(1) I never signed off on a document with a month membership, since this was not what I was seeking. This section was blank at signing (I unfortunately misplaced my copy). (2) Also, the names of my children were not listed at the time of signing. You'll note that the names of my children are MISPELLED. (3) Also, a month term is odd, usually things are listed as annual memberships. For these reasons my view is that the document was altered, and therefore voided.I'm not sure if the seller had two customers or fact patterns crossed, or if this is in fact not a misunderstanding, but a fradulent act. The failure of the business to address the underlying facts or express any concern about my experience, other than to insist on payment, is deeply troubling

I am rejecting this response because: I was not explained this when signing in by wife was a prof at CSU STan and the club did not explain the exit methodIn addition when we called twice we were suggested to speak to the manager no one explained this procedure as you explained hereWe now have a negative balance and a penalty by our bank as we do not keep our money in the checking account that the club withdraws their dues fromwe need a reimbursement of dollarsthanks! ***

Review: [redacted] employees misled me on the contractual terms. I requested a month to month membership to use facilities during the summer months. When I notified [redacted] late summer of 2014 that I would not extend my month to month membership any further, they started assessing a $10 per month inactive membership fee beyond the summer months. I tried on multiple occassions in discussions with various managers to explain that I was NOT putting a membership on hold, that I had agreed only to pay for the months I used the facilities, and would discontinue membership at the end of summer. Each call ended with a [redacted] representative saying they would have to consult internally and would get back to me. This went on over multiple weeks with hours spent on the phone. At one point, a [redacted] employee said that the $10 per month fee was in my contract. I replied that I wanted to see the contract, and they could not produce it. At a later point, they produced a document, and it had the names of my children (for the club's kids club service) misspelled and not in my handwriting! Indicative of forgery! Anyway, no contract was produced, and the document presented did not match my intent, clearly communicated to Brenda, for a month to month membership during the summer months.[redacted] continues to assess fees it is not entitled to, and threatening to send me to collections.Desired Settlement: [redacted] acknowledge that I owe them nothing. [redacted] to write off any amounts that it thinks are owed by me. [redacted] to cease and desist from any collection activities, by own employees or third parties. [redacted] not report any amounts on my credit report. [redacted] not contact me or any member of my household.

Review: To begin with, the company's billing behavior this month appears to be very deceptive. The following is the list of complaints regarding my billing this month:1. Normally, my monthly bill is $32.00 and is automatically deducted from my account. This month, $105.00 was deducted.2. When I asked them why the bill was so high, they said a) there was a check return in November (I use a debit card so I have no idea why there is check return fee); b) That my annual dues were included from last month; c) a $25.00 check return fee was added; and d) December dues were also deducted.I disputed almost all of this (I do owe for November but I resigned my membership so I do not owe an annual fee or December's fee). When I asked why no one contacted me about the failure of my card to clear last month, the manager provided me with a mixture of lies and half-truths and refused to reverse any charges. In fact, she asked why I was even there...and I told her I was forced to come down IN PERSON in order to resign TODAY or my resignation wouldn't take effect for another month. But I had to come down in person to fill out the form since there are, apparently, no other resignation options. This manager was extraordinarily rude and dishonest. In fact, when I called my bank, they showed absolutely NO attempt to run my card in November. My sense is that they kept it quiet so that I couldn't resolve the issue in a timely way and were able to stack on additional fees and ambush me with an annual fee. I want all but November's dues ($32.00) returned to me.Desired Settlement: I simply want all but $32.00 (November, 2014) fees returned to me. That is, I want $73.00 returned to me. After looking through my bank account, I did see that they did not receive November's dues and I accept responsibility for that, though why they did not contact me prior to December 5th, I don't know. They did lie to me and say that they called, but my phone was available to me and that was easily checked and debunked on the spot.
