I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID *** and have determined that this does not resolve my complaint. For your reference, details of the offer I reviewed appear below
I am still dissatisfied at Brenengen's Chevrolet parking experienceThe dealer also admits that their parking lot sits on a higher ground but there was no warning sign or post on the area stating thatThere was no instructions given to me personally stating that my car was parked on a minimally higher ground surface. Being a minimally higher surface level, makes it very hard for any person to recognizeIf instructions were given properly, things could have certainly been prevented.
I demand some sort of satisfaction from Brenengen Chevrolet due to the incident happened to my car on September 27th

*** was in for a routine service to his Chevrolet Camaro. We have designated parking for vehicles when the service is
complete with numbered parking spaces so it is easy for the customer to locate their vehicle. His vehicle was parked in this area along with several other customer vehicles waiting to be picked up. The parking area does have a minimal grade so that water runoff flows into the drain like most business parking lots. When *** was attempting to leave the parking lot he accidentally rolled into the vehicle behind him and scuffed his bumper. It is unfortunate that he ended up with a mark in his bumper(the other vehicle was not damaged) but he was the operator of the vehicle. We have our customer done parking as close to our service exit door for the convenience of our customers. The parking lot was also refinished and restriped a couple weeks prior to his visit so that everything is clearly marked and easy to see. When *** walked out to his car he would have seen the other cars parked near him and had an opportunity to review his surroundings. Had he expressed concern about being uncomfortable moving his vehicle we certainly would have done it for him. I do take his concern seriously but I’m not sure what we could have done to prevent this.

*** *** did have his Chevrolet Cruze in for transmission concerns on 6-28-2016. Upon diagnosis of concern he was given an estimate to have his transmission tore down to determine the failure and repair or remove and replace transmission assembly. He declined to teardown his
transmission and we provided two replacement options. One was a GM Serta transmission and the other option was a used transmission from LKQ. Based on the cost factor *** elected to have the used transmission installed. After customer approval we completed the transmission replacement and verified proper operation and fluid levels. *** was unable to pick up his vehicle during business hours because he lived a distance away and requested to pay over the phone and we locked the keys in his car for him to pick up at his convenience.Ian (Service Manger) spoke with *** a couple of times on 9-and reviewed the current concern with his vehicle He is having transmission issues again with the used one that was installed The transmission that we installed is still under part warranty but labor would be an out of pocket expense. After the discussion Ian offered to assist with customer’s deductible and rental costs for customer satisfaction which totaled $440. *** was satisfied with assistance*** ***

I spoke with [redacted] and her husband last week about their recent service visit.  We discussed their concerns and we were able to resolve the issues they had.  I did supply them...

with a refund in the amount they specified in this complaint.  I also spoke with [redacted] husband) the day after their visit to make sure they were happy with the resolution and he stated they were.  Let me know if you need any other information.

[redacted] has brought in his Saturn Outlook in over the past few years for a/c concerns and other various repair needs.  I certainly agree that he has had a variety of issues with his vehicle and I feel we have tried to be as accommodating to him as possible.  The air-conditioning has been...

a concern for the last several years and we have been able to find failed parts on those visits.  We have also assisted with his extended warranty deductible more than once and covered diagnosis on several occasions.  One of the parts “the txv valve” has been a known issue and even though we could not verify it was leaking we replaced it free of charge because Steve was concerned about it.  All in all, we have spent hundreds of dollars and countless hours we cannot bill for, trying to make sure his vehicle is repaired correctly.  I can certainly understand frustration on Steve’s side but it has not been due to a lack of effort and willingness to work with him on our end.  We have also picked up and delivered his vehicle back to the airport on several occasions trying to be accommodating as possible to his schedule.  We did have his vehicle in for the a/c concern last week and we diagnosed the issue at no charge to Steve.  I have presented him with what we have found and how we can assist him.
While we cannot fix his vehicle free of charge I feel we have presented him a very beneficial option.
