Worst rental experience I have ever had. They did not change the carpet when we moved in. It was full of stains and holes. The roof and windows leaked 4 times while we lived there. They are extremely dishonest and will blatantly lie. We left the place completely clean, and they did not contact us until 4 months the after we moved out saying that we owed them money. The rentals are poorly maintained, dirty messes. They will make up a bunch of things to charge you for and you will never get your deposit back. Do NOT rent from them you will be ripped off, live in a dirty unmaintaned environment and have to deal with awful people.

Do Not Rent With Them, they will rip you off. My roommates and I rented with them for a year. We cleaned the apartment for a week, and left it spotless. We expected to receive most of our security deposit back, we knew that they will charge for carpet cleaning and maybe some minor things (like a few holes in the wall), but we weren't prepared for what happened. They charged us for things which they are not even supposed to charge us for. They said they had to repaint the rooms and all of our doors, even though the doors and the walls had no damage nor needed to be repainted. This company will use your security deposit to renovate the apartment for free. Our security deposit was 1200 dollars and we received nothing back. As I said, the apartment was cleaner and nicer when we left than it was when we moved in. Charging us 1200 dollars for minor damages is absolutely absurd, they treated us like we left the apartment messy and damaged. When we rented with [redacted] the year before, and we moved out, we received the whole deposit back.
HENCE, there are honest and professional apartment rentals in town, however Brennan Properties is not one of them. DO NOT RENT WITH THEM, if you do... Good luck.

Brennan properties runs an apartment complex no one should rent from. They charge you an arm and leg to live there but do not take into account that their apartments lack cleanliness. When you move out, they will take your entire deposit and even charge you extra. I'm not the only one to say this, it is true. I'm in the process of trying to get money back for their poor professionalism and scheme. They feel that because it is a college town, that they are entitled to screw over their tenants because the majority of them are students and that is not fair. We left that place cleaner than what we got it moving in. Moving in is another story; the tub was black, literally, and the place smelled funky, the washer and dryer had tons of dirt in it and no one had dusted. When I moved out, I made sure it was taken care of, and yet, they still manage to find things to charge us with? Those charges are made up and do not apply to us. We replaced bulbs in the place and they charged us for that along with a smoke detector alarm which we replaced as well. There was lint trapped in the dryer props to our move in that I could never get and they're charging us for that? Things like the ones listed above is what they're getting us for and its not just a few bucks, it's anywhere from $60-200 for petty things that's aren't my problem.
