Company failed to fix known problems with fence gates after more than 20 complaints. Make promises to show up and fix and never do. Poor service!!!!We purchased a fence for almost $15K. The gates have never consistently worked properly. We contact them constantly and they promise to fix but never completely fix. 5 weeks ago [redacted] came out on a Monday and outlined the numerous problems, even saying these parts aren't the proper ones. He promised to come out that Saturday and said it would only take 45 minutes to fix both gates. He never called or showed up. We have called at least 15 times and either they don't respond or if they do they promise to fix and never show up. A week ago we told them if it wasn't fixed by August 13th we would file a complaint and also take legal action. Once again they did not show up and did not contact us. We are also getting complaints from our lawn service that the gates don't work properly and do not open or lock properly. We always paid in full and really feel ripped off and other potential customers should beware of this company's horrendous support. Additionally we recently noticed that the fence was also not installed on our property line as directed and promised and now we have issues with our irrigation system being outside of the fence as well as landscaping that is outside the fence line but inside our property line.Desired SettlementReplace all defective parts and all gates need to work properly once and for all. We want all new parts including top caps as promised by company within one week.MORE INFO RECEIVED FROM THE CONSUMER: The company responded after we told them we filed a complaint, and fixed the problems with the 2 gates on Monday.
The company was given money in November for fence installation. Brennan's continues to not call and not show up to install the fenceI gave Brennan's over $5,000 for the installation of an aluminum fence in November. I was told that the installation would take 2 days and would begin on December 21st. No one showed up so I called and was told that it was delayed and the work would begin on the 28th. Again, no one showed up and I called. I was then told by [redacted] that it would begin on January 4th. No one showed up again. I called and spoke with a woman and then with [redacted] who told me that his crew was finishing a job and would be at my house in the afternoon. Again, no one showed. I sent an email to the owner, [redacted] on January 6th asking for his help to get the job done. A few guys finally showed up on the 11th and install a few sections. They were supposed to return but never did. I called again on Wednesday the 13th and spoke with [redacted] who told me that the fence would be done on the 16th. No one showed up, again. I have called and no one answers or calls back. The website states that the hours of operation are Monday - Saturday 8am-9pm. I went to the office today (Jan 16th)only to find it locked up. Desired SettlementTo have the job done now and correctly with no more excuses or lies. Business Response Material was a special order and when it finally arrived, it contained the wrong post to install fence panels. Correct post were late received, and install was finished. Buyer made a down payment of $2025.00 by credit card.Desired SettlementI would like Brennan's Fence to finish the job by September 19, 2015 or refund my complete down payment of $2025.00.Business Response Proposal was provided on 7/30/2015. Contract was signed on 8/3/2015, deposit was paid on 8/24/2015, which completed the contract terms. From the time the contract terms were met, job was completed on 9/21/2015. Which is with in the estimated 4 week window of customer told install date.Consumer Response Job completed to our satisfaction after taking action.Final Consumer Response
