I am rejecting this response because: I find it very suspect that the time estimate of 21/2 hrs is accurate.  Rich knows what our conversation was regarding the timing of the receipt of this part. Jeremy called me on Thirsday @ 5:30to say it has arrived.  It is just not possible to have it done by the next morning at 9:30.  If they said that this repair always takes 2 1/2 hrs from the beginning I would accept that.  But this is not what was said.  The original estimate was for $236 to 280 depending on the length of time necessary to complete the install.  There is no real way to verify the time on their end. We are all at the mercy of these repair services.  I found it quite strange that both Jeremy and the other gentleman both blurted out two different scenarios of how it added up to 2 1/2 hrs.  I don't believe either one.  I just felt like I was being taken advantage of.  From 5:30 Thursday ( when they close at 6) to the next morning at 9:30 ( when they open at 9) just does not add up.

I will contact the customer for more information and to see if I help her further. She was given and accepted the estimate of time and work required. I did offer to take care of her and by that I meant loan her a laptop while she was waiting for the part. She did not take advantage of this offer....

This was done as a customer service. We ALWAYS give an estimate and get approvals, which she did give.She is drawing a time conclusion on the time it took from the time we received the part and called her, as I promised her. We had already completed disassembly and just need to preform the repair, reassemble and test.
I already talked to her because she was not happy with the length of time required to get the part, I would be more than happy to talk to her about the repair time.
