Please see the below email from Mazda regarding [redacted] and the situation Just to provide you an update [redacted] spoke with the customer and let him know that we are agreeing to replace the CMU strictly in the interest of customer satisfactionCustomer understood but wanted more so she also agreed to either provide him with an E-Plan certificate if he decides to lease another Mazda when his lease ends in months or we pay his disposition fee which is just $ It seems we salvaged this one If the dealership hasn’t responded to the Revdex.com yet I’d include the above as our agreement with the customer Thanks for your help in getting the dealer to order the part and getting this one handled Sincerely, [redacted] ***SrSpecialist why here

We have forwarded this concern to our Mazda District Service Manager, as Mazda North America is the maker of the warranty and they need to authorize replacement of this unit.Mazda of Escondido does not make the decision to replace the unit that must be approved by the manufacturer. Thanks***

I have reviewed the response made by the business in reference to complaint ID ***, and find that this resolution would be satisfactory to me. I will wait for the business to perform this action and, if it does, will consider this complaint resolved.Team Revdex.com, Couldn't figure out how to respond to the recent post from *** and ***, so hoping an email will suffice. I can confirm that the dealership has indeed returned my car and repaired it to my satisfactionMore communication would have been better but I'm grateful that they stood by their product and worked with Mazda corporate to make it happenI appreciate their efforts and consider this matter closed. I'm happy to provide an update on this matterI've heard nothing from Mazda of Escondido despite leaving the service manager -- *** *** -- two voice mails over the last seven daysExcept for the message from *** which I only read yesterday, there's been nothing but radio silence from themI have no idea if they're replacing the unit or standing their ground to provide only a software update. Customer understood but wanted more so she also agreed to either provide him with an E-Plan certificate if he decides to lease another Mazda when his lease ends in 3 months or we pay his disposition fee which is just $400.00.   It seems we salvaged this one.  If the dealership hasn’t responded to the Revdex.com yet I’d include the above as our agreement with the customer.   Thanks for your help in getting the dealer to order the part and getting this one handled.  Sincerely,  [redacted]Sr. Specialist  why here...
