A good honest mechanic is hard to find. I found Herb through a friend. A tire blew on my van on a Sunday night.about half a mile from Herbs place. Tried fixing it on Monday morning at my friends, but the driveway is on a slant, and, being late winter, was icy. The vehicle slipped, bending the jack but also with the cold air, the pulley system for the spare wheel snapped. My friend called Herb, who sent his men up to see what needed to be done. They then towed the van to his place, fixed what was needed and I went to collect it. He told me to call back for the bill (my friend wanted it sent to him, but I said that I would pay it and Herb could send the bill to my friend with a "no charge" marked on it.) Called back a few days later to pick up the bill and a new jack. and got talking about my friend's illness. After a long chat, I said, 'so I'll call back on Friday for the bill then?" to which he replied "I'm not even going to make one out" Needless to say, I will be using him more.

Ken from Abbey Road cleaned my chimney and dryer vent today and did a wonderful job. He also went the extra mile and fixed by fireplace doors so they would not move around anymore. My family can safely enjoy a warm crackling fire this winter.

A very professional and friendly home visit from Ken and Curt they both went above and beyond their standard duties explained and talked to me about my fireplace.
