What happened was I bought the car from them, we finalized the deal and received the invoice after charging my credit car that I had provided. The problem is that I paid what the dealership was asking online, which was 19,900, the price advertised on Autotrader with no negotiations, 3 hours later...

they got calls and sold my car to someone else who offered more money. They were dishonest with me and had false advertisement as I had followed and submitted to whatever they asked for. I will attach a copy of the invoice and the title of the vehicle they had sent me when it was sold to me, Ill also attach a copy of the receipt for the charged credit card.

June 14, 2014
Dear [redacted]:I am in receipt of your June , 2014 letter detailing a complaint received by **. [redacted] regarding the abovereferenced ID number, My response to this complaint follows.
**. [redacted] has misstated some important facts and has omitted others which are crucial to understanding the underlying transaction. Brett Enterprises LLC is a licensed car dealer in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania. We sell hundreds of cars each year online through websites such as [redacted] and others. Our online reviews are impeccable because of the care we invest in each of our customer transactions. We sincerely regret what happened in **. [redacted]s case, however, as you can see from the following, **. [redacted]s allegations are not accurate and do not fairly portray our company.
The car in question here was listed on [redacted] and other online websites for sale. **. [redacted] (also an automotive dealer) contacted our offices and inquired about the car. He expressed interest in purchasing the car and, per our policies, we asked for a credit card deposit and sent him a proposed purchase order, terms and conditions and a copy of title demonstrating that we owned the car and had the ability to sell it, free and dear of any liens. Before **. [redacted] returned the fully executed purchase order and literally within an hour (if not minutes) of speaking with him via telephone, a second buyer clicked the buy it now" feature on the [redacted] isting for the car. This has the effect of immediately and automatically selling the car to the online purchaser (who agreed to the terms and conditions and provided payment in full. Contrary to **. [redacted]s representations, the purchase price by the [redacted] buyer was exactly the same price **. [redacted] offered to pay. This was not a case of our company taking a deal that was more favorable. It was the exact same deal.
In the event that we did not honor the [redacted] transaction, we would be in violation of our listing agreement with [redacted] and could potentially lose the ability to sell cars on [redacted], Moreover, in the event we removed the car from [redacted] when we sent the documents out to **. [redacted], we would be creating an unworkable situation for our business model. We frequently receive interest in cars and send out paperwork only to find that the buyer has a change in heart when asked to sign on the dotted line.
We explained this to **. [redacted] and sincerely apologized for the situation. We immediately refunded his deposit. We truly regret that this occurred and was willing to work with **. [redacted], a fellow auto dealer, to see if there was something that we could do to make this right. Unfortunately, **. [redacted] was unwilling to discuss this matter any further. He became belligerent on the phone and took the inexplicable action of posting two fake ads on Craigs List offering vehides at belowmarket prices and provided my name and personal mobile telephone number in the ad. As a result, I received dozens of calis regarding the fake offers. Moreover, **. [redacted] improperly posted negative and misleading reviews on multiple websites (per those website's rules, auto dealers are not permitted to make postings about one another.
We sincerely regret what occurred in **. [redacted]s case, We are examining solutions to ensure that this never happens again. We have never had something like this happen and I suspect that the likelihood of it happening again is remote. Nonetheless, I cannot help but feel that had **. [redacted] been willing to work with us in a reasonable manner, we could have worked through this issue together, Instead, through his actions, he has demonstrated that his intent and interests lie not in rectifying the situation, but rather, in seeking revenge for an unfortunate and unlikely freak occurrence.
I am available to discuss this matter should you have any additional questions.
Sincerely,

Review: Earlier this morning I had worked out a deal with the used car manager on a 2009 [redacted] . I agreed on paying the listed price advertised online and placed a 1000 dollar deposit and had a wire sent with confirmation. The dealership sent me an invoice with the information on the car and the amount i'm paying . It was pretty much a done deal no looking back, 3 hours later a lady from the dealership calls me who had no idea what happened or what the deal was about, she was informed to tell me that the car is sold and the dealership would refund me the deposit . I had the manager's cell phone so I called him and he wouldn't answer he kept ignoring my calls. it turns out someone had called an hour after I bought the car and offered more money to buy it and they took it. Very disappointed with this service as I agreed to everything they asked for including the price that was advertised no negotiations.Desired Settlement: HONOR THEIR WORD
