This place is absolutely wonderful!
l am from Milwaukee but I now live in California. My son died suddenly on October 15th of this year and I had to make the arrangements on very short notice in the four days I spent in Milwaukee taking care of this very sad event. Someone I talked to right after I arrived recommended the Brett Funeral Home for being extremely helpful in these situations. And they were absolutely correct!
A lovely gentleman named John [redacted] exemplifies all the excellent qualities you need in a funeral director. He is kind, caring, extremely efficient, and made many amazing efforts to expedite this process for me and my family so I could return to California within the week. Whenever I told him that something I needed would have to be mailed to me since I would be there for only four days, he would tell me not to worry- that he would expedite whatever I needed so everything would be done before my return trip. And it was!
I highly recommend this funeral home to both local residents and to people like me from other places, who need to be gently and competently directed to whatever is needed to take care of the many details of whatever type of remembrance is desired.
