I purchased a lovebird from the owner on October 2nd, Despite the bird having obvious damage (plucked feathers), the owner charged me $322.50, which is the price of a pair despite me just buying oneI was forced to buy it as I was worried the bird would not survive in the very small cage with its aggressive companion, and the owner would not separate them and get him medical attention as the owner doesn’t have enough experience to recognize the plucking as an issueI originally wanted to purchase on September 29th, but the owner made me wait until October 2ndOn October 4th, I took the bird to the vet where I was informed he was extremely underweightOn October 7th, I had to put the bird down because it was so illThe owner did not disclose there was malnourishment, and that he was severely underweightThe vet informed me that simply flying around was enough to have caused the exhaustion that killed himThe vets office will verify all this information
