I am very pleased with the installation of my Lennox air condition unit. The men were very professional and extremely neat with their work. I highly recommend Brevard Cooling and Heating for anyone wanting a perfect installation of an air conditioning unit.

After receiving about ten different bids to replace our 13 year-old heat pump, we selected Brevard Cooling and Heating to install a [redacted] 18 SEER four ton two-stage heat pump. I obtained another bid for the exact same [redacted] split system unit, along with comparable [redacted] and [redacted] products in the same SEER and ton rating. The bid from Brevard Cooling was very competitive, and was the only bid write-up that was done during the initial inspection/visit at my home. Their bid sheet showed different system options, and listed separately the associated components such as piping, filtration system, thermostat, warranty, rebates, and final price. In essence it was one of the most complete bid sheets provided.

On the day of the install, two container truck and four workers arrived at my home on schedule. Everyone was clean and polite; they introduced themselves, and quickly began the task of removing the old system. We discussed some aspects of the new [redacted] system, such as orientation of the outside unit, the exact placement of the inside blower unit, and the water drain line prior to them beginning the install, and they listened attentively to my questions and concerns and provided full explanations before beginning work. Their work was very neat, organized and professional. Both units (condenser and blower unit) were installed neatly and the re-building of the air-return duct work was done in a highly professional manner. Prior to them leaving, the work site was completely cleaned, all aspects of the work completed, I was provided a full orientation of the system, filter and thermostat operation, and my system was up and running according to performance specs. The county inspection was performed the following week, and the inspector noted that this was one of the cleanest jobs.

One aspect that might improve the bid process with customers is to provide some examples of filter and thermostat products. I’m impressed with the 5” high efficiency media filter that is located just below my new [redacted] evaporator, but showing a few examples of options and products could be helpful during that initial discussion. I was specifically concerned as to how well the filter housing would match-up to the bottom of the evap unit, but it turned out that it was a perfect fit and specifically designed for that [redacted] unit. My old heat pump system gave me 13 years of trouble-free service, so I’m hoping for the best from my new [redacted] Brevard Cooling and Heat did an excellent job, and I highly recommend obtaining a bid for any A/C work.

I am extremely happy with our experience with Brevard Cooling and Heating. We had FIVE companies out to the house and some had competitive prices. When [redacted] came out to the house we knew Brevard Cooling and Heating was for us. [redacted] would not compromise quality at any point. They replaced all of our old copper rather than flushing the pipes like other companies proposed. They also installed a heat pump which will save us a ton in the winter and did not try to sell us anything we didn't need. The team who came out to install were extremely pleasant and courteous, left the house very clean and did an amazing job. At the end of the job, I realized I had misunderstood which thermostat we were receiving and [redacted] volunteered to come out and upgrade us free of cost. Lastly and most importantly Brevard cooling and heating was the only company who offered a 5 YEAR labor warranty and 10 year parts included in our price. Other companies I priced were charging 900 for what they provided us free. So thank you so much! I will absolutely recommend you to all of my friends and family.
