Brew City Automotive, I am raving angry at them and they have wasted my timeThis all started at the end of the summerI inquired with them about getting my car fixed and said that I have received a scholarship and will be needing estimatesAt this time it was no problem and [redacted] brought my car into the shop and gave my boyfriend the estimate(My boyfriend is helping out because, of the work load I am under.) Anyways, he looked at my truck and said that it will cost XXX to replaceWe then received the check on 8/14/and went back to him the next day and he said that he will not accept checks and it must be cash or a credit cardWe contact our contact and proceed to explain the problem to the scholarship company and they said that they will contact Brew City Automotive- [redacted] and talk to himOur contact calls *** and [redacted] then says "It will be no problem, to accept the check"So, we call *** back and he then tells us that we really should be paying attention to another problem that is more important and that we can manage as long as we don't fill the tank completely upWe say "Okay, if that is more important he has our permission to proceed with his recommendation*** then tells us he has to call his supplier and see if our parts are in stock*** calls and we didn’t receive a call back from himWe call [redacted] the next day and when we did get ahold of him; He said that one of the lines wasn’t in stockWe said okay and he said when it is in stock he will call us backWe waited a weekWe received no phone call and so, we try calling himWe didn't get ahold of himWe then decided to call around to find out if the line is in stock at some auto stores and sure enough, it isWe try reaching back out to [redacted] to inform him, we found a place the line is in stock and we didn’t get ahold of himWe have tried back for several weeks now and still, have no received a phone call from him or been able to reach himHonestly, it has literally been over a month since, we received a check from my scholarship on 8/14/and today is 9/28/Since we began this project at the beginning of August (Called for an estimate and received our estimate, It has now been months.) Horrible Customer Service and I truly do not recommend himIf he would have worked with us this review truly would have been different
I cannot be more thankful for [redacted] at Brew City AutomotiveHis expertise as both a mechanic and a welder, along with reasonable prices and being an all around friendly guy, changed the game when I had nearly gone to junk my carYears of experience beneath the hood, working with bikes, and working on structural body work are evidentThe shop doesn't advertise and is cash only-- this guy isn't out to take your money and runI would certainly recommend [redacted] and Brew City Automotive for future repairs
Steve is the most honest mechanic I have dealt with I get my oil changes et different shops and they give you a list of things needed done I take the car over to Brew City and Steve tells me what has to be done Most of the time it is nothing

We received no phone call and so, we try calling him. We didn't get ahold of him.
We then decided to call around to find out if the line is in stock at some auto stores and sure enough, it is.
We try reaching back out to [redacted] to inform him, we found a place the line is in stock and we didn’t get ahold of him. We have tried back for several weeks now and still, have no received a phone call from him or been able to reach him.
Honestly, it has literally been over a month since, we received a check from my scholarship on 8/14/14 and today is 9/28/14
Since we began this project at the beginning of August (Called for an estimate and received our estimate, It has now been 2 months.)
Horrible Customer Service and I truly do not recommend him. If he would have worked with us this review truly would have been different.

Years of experience beneath the hood, working with bikes, and working on structural body work are evident. The shop doesn't advertise and is cash only-- this guy isn't out to take your money and run. I would certainly recommend [redacted] and Brew City Automotive for future repairs.
