Unprofessional Staff (Waitress and Bartender who I believe is the Manager)On 5/23/2014 around 7:30pm/et my co-workers and I decided to attend Brewmasters for a Celebratory Dinner for our co-workers birthdays. It was approximately 12-15 of us, and we spent a significant amount of money at BrewMasters that night. Our waitress, was not timely in meeting our needs, and the restaurant was barely busy that night due to the Holiday weekend.The waitress took several breaks, sitting on the couch that's right across from where we sat and just stared. I had to ask for a cup of water several times before I received it. In addition to that, I ordered two of the Evil [redacted] (I believe thats the name) drinks. At the time I ordered the drinks, the waitress did not inform me that I could not order two drinks at one. After she had given me the drinks, and I started on the first one. She then proceeded to come back and take the other drink stating I am not allowed to have two drinks. (She should of told me that before I ordered both drinks as I am just a customer who is not aware of this issue)Upon receiving the first drink, it was warm and nasty and I did not like the beer. I informed the waitress that I would pay for that I barely sipped on, however the one that she placed in the refrigerator UNCOVERED behind the bar, I would not pay for it. For 1 because the drink was not covered, and for 2 because I did not consume the beverage. She then proceeded to argue back and forth with me stating, WELL I'VE ALREADY POURED IT. Which was VERY UNPROFESSIONAL. The bartender (who I believe was the manager) then came up and began to yell at me as well saying that IT WAS NOT THEIR FAULT I ORDERED TWO DRINKS AND COULD NOT HAVE BOTH, AND THAT THE DRINK WAS ALREADY POURED. At this point, I told them both to just put it on the tab, and asked to order a bud light. The waitress nor the manager then walked away, and talked and at this point, I told them to forget the bud light and give me my check. These two individuals were very unprofessional the entire night. I even walked up to the bar and asked the lady behind the bar, could I order a drink and her response was YOUR WAITER WILL BE RIGHT WITH YOU. If this business style continues, I am sure brewmaster will loose a significant amount of business. My co-workers and I agreed we would NEVER come back to this establishment because of the poor customer service and the lack of empathy by employees. The waitresses and bartender argued with me as if I was not a paying customer in the store, in front of other people. I will NEVER EVER come back to this establishment again to spend my money, and nor will my co-workers. The front-house staff was very lazy this night, and did not seem in a hurry to ensure my needs, or my co-workers needs were met. I was discussing with my co-workers about the situation with the beer in a private conversation, and the bartender walks up to me and says, CAN I HELP YOU WITH SOMETHING. I replied no, and she proceeded to say, well I WOULD APPRECIATE IF YOU WOULD NOT TALK BAD ABOUT US, OR I WILL ASK YOU TO LEAVE. At this point, I as well as my co-workers gathered our belonging, payed our tabs, and proceeded to leave this establishment, and VOWED TO NEVER RETURN.Desired SettlementI would like an apology from management team at this establishment, as well as a refund for my entire drink order.If I did not consume a beverage and was not notified of company policy beforehand, I as the customer, am NOT responsible for the employees negligence in handling company policies and procedures effectively. The front-house employees were utterly LAZY, UNPROFESSIONAL, AND RUDE to me, as well as my co-workers. Also, as a serviced based organization, it is in the best interest of the business to ensure customers are satisfied in a way that leaves a lasting impression on the customer. The front-house employees failed to represent Brewmasters in a way that welcomes new business to this establishment, and I will NEVER RETURN. I do recall the night you are talking about. You were in with a group of people and throughout the night, the group was ordering drinks for each other. The group also took several samples during the course of the visit so it was known that samples are an option. When you order two very expensive imported beers ($7 for ten ounces) after taking multiple samples, the business should not be responsible for you not first sampling such an invested decision. It was not known that both beers were for one customer, which is not a company policy, its illegal to do. When told this, the customer said it was fine if the other was held behind the bar until the first was finished. It did not become a problem until the customer tried the beer and did not like the flavor. After it was stated that the beers could not be returned, the customer then called the server and bartender "[redacted]". Soon after, most of the customers company apologized for his behavior and stated that this is normal behavior for the customer. I'm sorry if you feel you were treated unfairly, but there are some things that as a business, have to be done certain ways. One of which is not giving away product, expensive product at that. I'd be happy to offer you diner on the house and insure your next visit is as enjoyable as possible. We have never and will never put up with cursing or touching employees and will not give away alcohol under any circumstances.
