You must think I'm a jurk.you have had the same response as beforeYou keep saying my customer is driving the car,not sure we're u got that from but this is a car we are selling.when a customer asks if a used motor (definition of a used motor is a motor that came from same car unless told otherwise By sales person)we always ask if it is from the same car)an I was told by Dorothy that it was, otherwise I would have continued to look for the correct motor that I though I got for cash only without all this **.you still didn't address the fact that the invoice didnt have the vin # or milage as required by NY DMV.bottom line,if the motor that you sold me an told me was from the exact same car I would not have to retro fit it to work.any person could understand this.you are a liar & a scam company.as I said before,I will not stop til you pay me for your screw up.DMV,COMSUMER AFFAIRS,SMALL CLAIMS,ECT

The customer ordered the wrong part times and we shipped the part to the customer twiceWe offered to locate the correct part for
themWe tried to help this customer every way possibleEven explained that they would get a store credit for the balance minus shipping and restocking feesWhich would be for the total of $as we do not give cash refundsThe signed the credit card authorization that states that, as well as received the invoice which also states that all sales are final no cash refundsWe have given them the $credit on their account in the computer so when they call for parts it will be listed there so we can see it and deduct as they order parts

[Your Answer Here]As I mentioned I have been in this business for years so don't tell me that parts need to be changed, if you get the correct motor that was asked for in the first place unless you where trying to get over on an uninformed person.I should have read your reviews first than I surely would not be in this position today,It seems that you have a history of this sort of thing,(I'm not the first). The fact still remains that you sold me a motor not for this car which needed modifacation.the parts needed were discribed in my first email.parts & labor were $449.60.They offered a credit to my account for $100.00,what account, I never dealt with them before nor will I ever.there offer is an insult, they must try this with all the unhappy customers that they screw.Trust me I will not stop til I receive my full refund not credit in the amount of $449.60.New York DMV is my next stop.**

When you purchase an engine it is just a block, you have to change certain parts it is recommended to do so you purchased a used engine that was running here you had no complaints about the condition of the engine just that you had to change some things, which is highly recommended that you do so anyway The engine is in your customers car and they are driving it around We offer a replacement warranty we do not cover labor charges affiliated with putting parts in We offered you a $100.00 credit as a courtesy to you. We have been in business here for a number of yrs. also a used engine is the block and heads only that is what you purchased the engine that you asked for is the engine that you received we are in the used parts business with a database that tells us what parts work with other cars and what interchanges with all cars the engine is in your car and you are driving it around with no issues even when you purchase a new engine you have to change parts from the existing engine obviously you never purchased a used engine before or you would know that things have to be modified from the original engine to the used engine

The customer purchased and engine from us and we did deliver it to the customer the customer called us and asked for information pertaining to the engine that was supplied to them The customer...

called and asked for an adjustment and we offered him a credit on his account in the amount of $100.00 The customer installed the engine in his customers car and is driving it around now he is asking for a refund for the full amount of the purchase price which a credit of $100.00 is more than fair as the engine is in the car We did everything possible to help the customer as he purchased a good running engine from us and installed it in the car ans is driving around with it So like I said we sold them a good running engine and it is recommended that some things are changed when they switch engines

Review: On 10/**/2015 a transaction took place between myself and brewster auto. This was invoice: [redacted] for $325.00 + $100.00 shipping charge. When received on 10/**/2015, the part was wrong all together and not what was ordered. I, [redacted] sent the part back, paying $16.00 shipping charge out of my own account. On 10/**/2015 another part was received (an automatic engine cross member) which was the wrong part again. The part that I, [redacted] requested was for a manual transmission. I, [redacted] sent this part back to brewster auto on 10/**/2015. Later that afternoon, I, [redacted] requested a refund in the amount of $325 (cost for the parts). I, [redacted] was not requesting refund for the shipping fees that I, [redacted] incurred. Dorothy(who works at Brewster auto, told myself, [redacted] that she would have to review my ([redacted]) account and would return my call later that week with a refund amount. The date is 11/**/2015 and I, [redacted] have yet to receive a refund or a call back from Brewster auto. The total refund amount is $325.00 for the parts. I, [redacted] am not requesting to be refunded for the shipping costs that I, [redacted] have incurred. I am in disbelief with the way that Brewster auto, specifically Dorothy is handling this matter.Desired Settlement: Monetary refund for parts that Brewster auto has in posession.

We tried to help this customer every way possible. Even explained that they would get a store credit for the balance minus shipping and restocking fees. Which would be for the total of $150.00 as we do not give cash refunds. The signed the credit card authorization that states that, as well as received the invoice which also states that all sales are final no cash refunds. We have given them the $150.00 credit on their account in the computer so when they call for parts it will be listed there so we can see it and deduct as they order parts.

Review: I CALLED BREWSTER TO BY A MOTOR FOR A 2006 TOYOTA HIGHLANDER,THEY SAID THEY HAD ONE THAT THEY NEEDED TO TAKE OUT OF A CAR BUT IT WAS FROM SAME CAR.THEY WANTED CASH ONLY $1900.00.WHEN WE ATTEMPTED TO INSTALL THERE WERE DIFFERENCES.MOTOR MOUNTS,WATER LINES DIDN'T FIT.I CALLED THEM THREE TIMES,SPOKE TO DOROTHY,TOLD HER MY PROBLEM SHE SAID SHE WOULD LOOK INTO IT AN CALL BACK.SHE NEVER CALLED BACK SO I CALLED HER TO FIND OUT WHAT KIND OF CAR THE MOTOR CAME OUT OF BECAUSE IT WASN'T A HIGHLANDER LIKE THE BILL INDICATES.SHE SAID IT WAS FROM A HIGHLANDER AN GAVE ME A VIN # THAT BY NEW YORK LAW SHOULD HAVE BEEN ON THE INVOICE ALONG WITH THE MILES ON THE MOTOR,BOTH WERE NOT ON BILL.THE VIN # THAT SHE GAVE ME WAS NOT FOR THAT MOTOR,AFTER DOING MY OWN RESEACH WE DETERMINED THAT THE MOTOR CAME FROM A SION,WHICH REQUIRES ADDITIONAL PARTS TO MAKE THE MOTOR THAT HAS ALREADY BEEN INSTALL FIT PROPERLY.AFTER WEEKS OF ORDERING PARTS FROM TOYOTA & FINALLY GETTING THE MOTOR RUNNING I CALLED THEM AGAIN TO GET A REFUND FOR SELLING ME A MOTOR THAT WASN'T WHAT I ASKED FOR,DEMANDING CASH ONLY,NO VIN # OR MILEAGE ON INVOICE AS REQUIRED BY DMV LAW.THE PARTS AT MY COST IS $201.60 AND ADDITIONAL LABOR THAT WAS REQUIRED IS $248.00 WITH A TOTAL OF $449.60.SHE SAID SHE WOULD GIVE ME A $100.00 CREDIT,THAT TOTALLY UNEXCEPTABLE.FIRST SHE LIED ABOUT THE TYPE OF CAR THE MOTOR CAME OUT OF,SECOND SHE DEMANDED CASH ONLY,THIRD NO VIN # OR MILEAGE WAS ON THE INVOICE.NOW I AM WONDERING IF THIS MOTOR IS FROM A STOLEN CAR,MAYBE THAT IS WHY THERE WAS NO VIN # ON THE INVOICE.I WILL NOT SETTLE FOR ANYTHING LESS THEN A FULL REFUND NOT A CREDIT BECAUSE I WILL NEVER DEAL WITH THIS KIND OF COMPANY AGAIN.Desired Settlement: FULL REFUND ONLY,I WILL ALSO FILE A COMPLAINT WITH DMV DEALERS & REPAIRERS,DMV AUTO FRAUD DEPARTMENT & THE NEW YORK STATE CONSUMER AFFAIRS DEPARTMENT,I HAVE BEEN IN THIS BUSINESS FOR 40 YEARS AND THIS IS THE KIND OF SCAM THAT GIVES A BAD REPUTATION FOR OUR INDUSTRY.
