The job that was contracted to do was to sand and finish natural color the kitchen and dinette hardwood floorsThe customer subsequently changed his mind after initial discussions to stain the floor very dark in colorIt is not industry
practice to paint baseboards and trim prior to having floors sanded and stainedThe customer painted the baseboards and trim and did not remove them prior to us coming to do the floors, nor did he contract with us to remove themIt is not realistic nor did I suggest that we would not touch the baseboards as we have to go up to the baseboards to remove all finish to properly sand the floorsNormally base boards are removed prior to sanding the floors and if they are not, they are touched up by the customer after the floors are completedThe customer said he loved the floors and color of the stainI did not contract to do anything with the baseboardsThe customer has not paid his bill even though he indicated he was happy with the floors and that was the job we contracted to doI expect the bill to be paid in fullIf I do not receive payment in full within days, I will take legal action at the expense of the customer to seek payment in full
