Review: The contractor did not fulfill the contract. The services were not completed in the timeframe outlined in the contract. Given an additional month to complete the work did not result in a finished product. Services were paid for that were not provided (new sheetrock, plaster and paint for bedroom, custom cabinetry and recessed shelving, frame and build x2 skylights, closed entryway and door frame, install bathroom plumbing fixtures, toilet, vanities and tub, level and install bathroom tiling). Additional damage was incurred by the contractor's work (numerous holes in the ceiling and walls, damage to new hardwood floors). Services provided were not done correctly (i.e. unlevelled walls, bathroom floor and door frames).Desired Settlement: Refund for services not completed and/or payment for services we've had to hire another contractor to complete at a great financial loss to ourself.

Review: I am a single woman and I was taken advantage of by [redacted], a contractor whom I hired to renovate my kitchen. I originally gave [redacted] a down payment on April ** and he promised that my custom made cabinets would be finished by June * which was the start date of my kitchen renovation. [redacted] was suppose to remove cabinets (floor was already removed) create cabinets, install lighting, waterline for fridge, install backsplash and paint. Several days he'd came with his guys about 10:30 am, they worked for about 3 hours 4 tops, another day he came about 11am and left at noon and said he'd be back in an hour and a half and he did not come back that day Another day he (nor his guys) did not even show up. He claimed he came and waited at the door and no one ever let him in which I did not believe simply because all he had to do was call me and say he was at the door. On another day he claimed he had some type of food poisoning and could not work that day. By June ** I am still out of a kitchen and he has failed to follow thru with the signed agreement.I finally had to terminate working with [redacted] and he agreed and signed a promisary note that he pay me back part of the monies ($1500.00)that I gave him. He's made several appointments to pay me and stood me up each time.Desired Settlement: I would like the $1500.00 dollars he promised to pay me plus $500.00 for anguish, pain and suffering.
