We went to the client's house to see what the problem was and determined that it was a shrinkage crack, not a structural crack. Client refused my summation and offer of repairing the crack with caulk. We contacted our cement supplierWillie [redacted], and they went to the client's house and determined...
that it was the same thing, settling. This was not due to our installation, as we go above and beyond requirements by the village to obtain a permit, prepour inspection andfinal inspection. Client was unwilling to accept repair, and wants the entire driveway replaced or all money refunded for a hairline crack.
On April 25, 2016, I replaced my patio to my townhouse with a stamped patio. I received estimates from 4 contractors. Brian was on the high end, however, it was worth every penny. He took care of everything from obtaining the permit to finishing off the trim along the edge of the completed patio. They made sure concrete wasn't splashed against any of the building or door. Hauled everything away and cleaned up the common ground area. Everything he promised in the proposal was completed. I am very pleased with the finished patio.
