Review: On February 25 I reviewed my 2012 tax information with Mr. Davis. Mr. Davis stated he needed additional info from me to give me a quote. That evening I immediately sent him over the requested paperwork through his electronic database. On Monday, March 25, a month after our initial meeting, I phoned Mr. Davis' assistant and informed her that I was still waiting on a quote for my taxes. Mr. Davis phoned me back and still was not able to give me a definitive quote. He instead gave me a range and said he still needed to do research on my case. I then asked him when I can expect to have a definitive quote. To which he responded that he would be working on my case this week and would have a quote for me by that Wed or Thu. I never heard back from Mr. Davis on my quote.On April 12 at 2PM I phoned Mr. Davis' office to find out when I could pick up my taxes. His assistant informed me that an extension was going to be filed for me and others in his practice because they have had some internal challenges. I told her this was unacceptable. She then got Mr. Davis on the line who repeated that an extension was going to be filed because his laptop crashed and someone who was working with him backed out on him. I told him that that was unacceptable if he planned to charge me full price for a late return. He said if I thought that was unacceptable I could come and get my paperwork. I then told him that I wanted him to complete the extension because I have nowhere else to go at this point but I still thought he was conducting bad business and he should have at least tried to contact me instead of me having to contact him the day before taxes are due. Again he told me I had 2 choices to come and get my paperwork or have him file my extension and we could talk sometime after April 15. I told him to complete the extension. I changed my mind and requested my documents back in fear that he would continue to do a terrible job or hold my documents ransom for an exorbitant amount of $ for the file.Desired Settlement: I would like this company to pay any interest and penalty payments I may be charged by the IRS for filing a late/extended tax return.

Review: I hired Brian Davis to file my taxes in June 2013. I paid him at that time. However, he did not file my taxes, and I called him regarding this.

Yet, it has been nearly 30+ calls later and he will not return voicemails regarding whether or not he has filed my taxes. I've even left messages "just text or email me 'yes or no' so that I know if I need to file my taxes, myself". But, I've received no calls back.Desired Settlement: I would like to see Brian Davis return phone calls more promptly and have a better respect for the finances he's handling. I realize that's a tall order.
