I am rejecting this response because:
I was promised by the receptionist verbally that she will check with the insurance to check EXACTLY how much I will owe before any services are provided since *** *** is out of network, I assumed that would've been done and the estimates I signed and paid would've been the EXACT amounts she found out from the insurance that I would oweYou don't tell your patients/customers that you're going to do something and then don't do it since that's obviously what happened hereBecause if she did what she said she was going to do, and call and get the exact amount I would be paying for the exam,cleaning,xrays,ect.; I would've been correctly informed via the "estimate" that it was going to cost me over triple the amount I agreed to payIf I would've known this, I would've NEVER had services done at this office
I should've known this dentist office was going to screw people over when you can call and get an appointment for the same weekThey're obviously not that busy and need all the money they can get, so they take advantage of people and lieMy prior dentists in Colorado, you had to wait at least months for an appointment opening because they were so busy and KNOW HOW TO TREAT THEIR PATIENTS AND CUSTOMERSPeople need to be aware of the things this dentist office is doingI've never made a formal complaint before about any business so that tells you how bad these people screw people over and don't own up to what they say and then don't help out their patients at all when it's THEIR MISTAKE

Revdex.com, Regarding Complaint ID [redacted] Patient [redacted] came into the office on 10/28/2014 for the 1st visit as new patient and was advised we were non-participating providers for [redacted]. She was seen for a full exam, full set of radiographs and adult prophylaxis. As...

patient checked out that day 10/28/2014 she was given; an estimated amount to pay of $67.60 for today and since were not contracted with [redacted] patient was advised if there is a difference we will send you a statement after the insurance pays. We billed the insurance for the total of $338.00 for the services on 10/28/2014. Her insurance paid $150.64 on 11/05/2014, (please refer to the [redacted]'s Explanation of Benefits).Which left her a balance of $119.76. Also on that day, patient was given an estimate for treatment of the extraction of two wisdom teeth (attached copy of treatment estimate with patient signature) and she did schedule for on 11/14/2014, which clearly states "This is an ESTIMATE ONLY." Patient returned on 11/14/2014 for the extractions of two wisdom teeth. The total for date of service 11/14/2014 was $576.00. The patient paid $175.00 and the insurance paid $202.68 which-leaves the balance of $198.32 for the date of service 11/14/2014. She was advised on that date that her insurance did not cover the balance of her visit on 10/28/2014. That would bring a total balanced of $318.08 of which no attempt has been made to pay off the balance. Attached are the explanation of benefits from both dates of service from [redacted].
