My name is [redacted]. I am the sole operator and the owner of Wicked Illusionz Motorsports LLC. Because I am a one man operation, and this one of the busiest time of the year for me, I unfortunately am just now getting a chance to respond to the letter that I received...

Monday October 16th, in regards to the complaint filed by [redacted].  I am not surprised that you've been contacted by [redacted], my ex-girlfriend. Like you mentioned in your letter, there are always two sides, and many details that can be, like in this case, completely left out.  In my opinion, [redacted] is making a false claim against my business to hurt me personally because we are no longer in a relationship and she is upset that our relationship ended and that I have moved on.  She made this claim only after she received a certified letter with an unpaid invoice for work I did on her car after our relationship ended. Below I have outlined the details that are missing from her complaint. During the end of 2015, all of 2016, and into the earlier months of 2017, [redacted] and I were in a relationship. (See attached photos to support this statement) During this time when she was my girlfriend, being in the mechanical trade, there were several complimentary things I did to her vehicle with no invoice or receipt of payment. (See attached photos of examples of work I did for her during this time with no invoices or receipts from my business) The work on her vehicle she is mentioning in her complaint included various engine work, tune ups, customized electronic installations, customized accessories, and much more. However, contrary to the complaint you received, all of this work was done on a personal level. No invoices were made and no receipts were given, because this was not a "Wicked Illusionz" business exchange. The work performed on her vehicle during this time frame was on a "because I love you girlfriend" (if I may) exchange, completely outside of my actual business exchanges. Eventually we went our separate ways during early 2017. During the later part of March 2017, [redacted] started experiencing issues with her vehicle.  She asked if I could diagnose and repair issues with the vehicle.  I explained that I could do that, but that I would now need to invoice her for any of the work done as it would now be business related, and no longer done for free or at cost "just because we were in a relationship". After completing the business related work in March 2017 (noted on the attached invoice), I then delivered the vehicle back to her and sent her an invoice. All of my customers are emailed there invoices, and then given a link for online payment. After several days, I contacted [redacted] about her invoice, and she stated she was now experiencing new issues with the vehicle, completely unrelated to my original invoice. I did my best to try to explain and help solve her new issue, while explaining that I still also haven't received payment for the other items that were invoiced. She became very angry and decided she would take vehicle elsewhere. I did indeed receive a phone call from another shop asking for information and warranty info from parts that were installed during our "relationship" days. I politely explained that any parts/warranties/work performed at that time was on a personal basis and not on any type of business exchange.  After a few days went by, I was contacted again by [redacted], who wanted me to look at her vehicle's new problems. I told her that until she paid for her invoice I would not do any more work. I also explained that interest would accrue on the invoice if not paid. After months of no response to my calls or emails to pay this one invoice, I sent her a certified letter on September 28th, 2017 explaining I would be taking her to court if the invoice wasn't paid in full. After she received that letter, she made the complaint about something that happened 7 months ago. Her desired outcome states that she wants an itemized report of what was done, paperwork, and a receipt of payment.  I have already emailed her and mailed her the invoice (attached). Any work that was done while we were dating, which includes thousands of dollars in accessories, parts, and work, was done solely on a personal level, outside of my business, with no invoices/receipts, and should not be reflected against Wicked Illusionz Motorsports LLC.         Please don't hesitate to contact me with further questions.  [redacted]
