Briarwood Hill Apartments

Review: I moved into Briarwood Hills in April of 2014. Since then, I have dealt with a broken toilet that continuously flushed sewage and dead bugs, broken glass, high humidity, poor ventilation, mold, mildew, a plethora of garden bugs, and a ceiling leak. I was told that nothing could be done about the countless centipedes, spiders and beetles I kill daily because the issue should have been addressed in an earlier season. Also, the humidity has caused my rugs to be damp and smelly as well as mildew to accrue in my kitchen. I have purchased a dehumidifier which I am afraid to run due to an unwanted increase in my electric bill. However I have allergies to a number of environmental allergens, which makes it impossible to breathe and sleep without my dehumidifier running. I have made management aware of my health concerns, especially the fact that I recently found out I am pregnant. I explained that I was uncomfortable and embarrassed by the number of centipedes that crawl around my living room and bedroom at night and I received no resolution to the bug infestation. On numerous occasions the office has ignored emails and phone calls or they contacted me but did not follow through on any of their claims of repair. I have grown desperate in my attempts to feel comfortable, safe, and happy in this apartment and I am reaching out for assistance.[redacted]Desired Settlement: I am reaching out to the Revdex.com in hopes to remedy this concern by having an health inspector prove that my apartment is unlivable or receive assistance with terminating my lease without the loss of my security deposit.
