Brick City Motors Reviews (3)

Hello, my name is Rick S[redacted] from Brick City motors.  We sold Ms. [redacted] a 2007 Mazda 6, in which she had to register the car in New York.  We sent her the title before the temp expired, and she did not go register the car.  She was in Newark NJ a week after the...

temp plate had expired, and had her vehicle impounded due to an expired temp.  At this time she had the title in her possession over a week, and had not done her due diligence to register the vehicle.  She had enough time, and told the dealership that she had not taken time off to register vehicle.  Dealership is not responsible for her time off, and to register vehicle out of state.  She was well aware she had an expired temp, and chose not to take a day off to register the vehicle with the title in her possession for over a week.  If you have any questions, please call me at ###-###-####.   Thank youRick S[redacted]

Review: We purchased a vehicle for our Son and the vehicle was guaranteed to pass NJ state inspection. and to date we have spent 2800.00 to try to get the vehicle to pass, and after several poinions and diagnosis the engine is now seized only after 4 1/2 months after purchase. The dealership is refusing to do any repairs to fix the vehicle. Vehicle now needs a new engine to repair and estimates are 6800.00.

Loan on the vehicle is estimated at 4800.oo.

Dealership told us if we had car towed to property they "will not accept it on the property and will leave outside the dealership on the streets of Newark"Desired Settlement: I would like the loan paid off , dealership to take vehicle back and the services refunded for the attempts to get car to pass inspection.

Review: I purchased a 2006 Infiniti G35 coupe at Brick City Motors in Newark,NJ. The dealer guy, asked to pay taxes+ registration fees in New Jersey despite the fact that I live in Maine. I got the car on April, 23th, 2014 and up to now, I haven't got the plates + registration they said I was going to be getting. I have been calling them pretty much every single day but they are not helpful at all. The temporary plates, they gave me got expired on May, 15, 2014 and they told me they will never at least provide another temporary plate. They said it is against the New Jersey law to provide a second temporary plate. Now, the car is parked, I can't drive a car with no plates here in Maine and I believe Brick City Motors took my money but they can't provide me with the plates + the registration. I have the paper work to prove what they charged me for taxes and registration fee.Desired Settlement: I believe Brick City Motors was not supposed to collect Maine taxes and registration fee, because when you purchase a car out of state, you pay taxes and registration fees where you live. I would like to have my money refunded so I can register and pay taxes here. I payed $ 250 for registration and $ 659.73 for taxes
