I did not accept the offer of $300 made by Brick Computer.[redacted] sold [redacted] a computer package as a surprise birthday present to me, [redacted]. He charged [redacted]'s [redacted] debit card over a thousand dollars. [redacted] told [redacted] he had suffered two traumatic brain injuries, which impair both his cognitive and visual abilities when they met.[redacted] is unable to drive, make appointments, live alone, handle finances, read without confusion, or make decisions. I have been his caregiver for two years since his initial attack and accident, and help him to handle his daily life. He is on multiple medications which further limit his decision making skills.I have complete documentation from his physicians, pharmacy, and attorney. As a result, he is on disability and goes to weekly occupational therapy at the [redacted] in [redacted], MA. Previously, he worked as a professional driver in the film industry. The day [redacted] showed up at my home, I told him I wanted an [redacted] laptop. He told me he could put programs in the computer he was selling us to synch with my business [redacted]. The only thing that synchs to my office is theCalendar app he downloaded onto it. I had tried to learn how to use the laptop and make the best out of this problem. It has been frustrating, difficult, and useless to me. It is not an [redacted] computer. It does not synch with my [redacted] or synch with my office [redacted]. The last conversation I had with [redacted] was my final attempt to resolve this problem. I explained all of the circumstances and explained how unhappy both [redacted] and I are over the situation. He told me he would only return $300 back to us for exchange of the laptop and he would do nothing more. I Did Not agree to accept that. He said he didn't care about our circumstances or the problem I am having as a result of his actions. As the business owner of thirty years, ethically and professionally I would never take advantage or perform a procedure on someone who is under the influence of multiple neurological medications and unable to make decisions without a caregiver.Mr. [redacted] has taken advantage of a situation without any  consideration other than his profit. After numerous attempts to resolve this, I am pursuing this with the help of the Mass Attorney General's office, Revdex.com, and small claims court. The Atty General office has also suggested we ask [redacted] to dispute the charge. I will supply documentation to support all of my facts.

Response:The computer in question was purchased on 8/4/2016, the laptop was $599, a printer $99, [redacted] $149, and $129 for in home delivery and setup of the laptop. On 11/18/2016, the $99 was credited back to [redacted] for returning a printer she did not like. On 1/7/2017 [redacted] came into...

my retail store an wanted to know if we would take the computer back, I agreed for $300 to take back a 5 month old laptop which is what it could now be sold for, however we cannot take back opened and licensed software and that was explained to her. She then agreed and to take the $300. She then asked if we would come back to her at no cost to set up a printer she purchased from [redacted] as a professional courtesy, when I explained to her that we would not do that, she called me a bad person and have a bad store along with more... I tried to work with her and did feel my offer of $300 was fair.
