Complaint: [redacted] I am rejecting this response because: Yes, I was honest and fair with the company but both air conditioner technicians indicated the wire on the power surge protector was not fastened, causing the air conditioner to stop working The air conditioner technicians came on different days The electric company sent a workman immediately upon receiving my email and they worked outside prior to letting me know they were at my home I honestly believe they were at fault No matter what, that was an estimate of the work to be completed They overcharged me for the work How many other people do they do the same? I just happened to check the cost of the equipment and then questioned them about the time and labor charged I am VERY disgusted with a local company that takes advantage of their customers I still would like them to pay me for the work they DID NOT complete Regards, [redacted] ***

I am rejecting this response because:

9-2-2014. Complainant was under no obligation nor pressure to accept this estimate. However, on 5-23-2016, almost two years later, complainant notified NH Electric and requested that the work be performed. On 5-24-2016, the exact services and materials defined in Estimate #[redacted] dated 9-2-14 were rendered at price stated on estimate. (Estimate is attached.) In regards to the air conditioner, NH Electric dispatched a technician immediately after notification from complainant and found no issue with the surge protector installation. Please see attached email from complainant, received 5-25-2016, which states "In my honest opinion, I think the air conditioner had problems from day one." NH Electric performed work exactly as stated in our estimate at a price agreed on by the complainant. [redacted] NH Electric, Inc.
