Review: Recently I selected Brick Township HVAC to install an [redacted] air conditioner system in my home. First, they installed equipment that was not on the original contract. Second, upon installation, a low voltage wire was used to connect components of system. The company had me turn system on for the first time instead of doing it themselves. This incorrect wire resulted in a severe arch that melted the wire and apparently affected system. One call was made to replace wire. Upon replacement of wire, the system appeared to turn on, but not hold proper temperature (installers just turned system on but would not wait to ensure it was working properly). A representative from [redacted] warehouse, along with a tech from Brick HVAC returned to attempt to diagnose problem. It was suggested that thermistors/circuit board was needed to be replaced. The technician from Brick HVAC, who stated was having trouble taking unit apart and getting to inside components, returned and replaced the component. He showed me a metal piece from inside the system that appeared to have a burn mark on it. Upon firing up system, the unit still ran like before (would not reach and hold desired temperature). According to **, the temp of room should reach what is set on remote thermostat.

I have attempted to contact Brick HVAC, along with ** numerous times to resolve this issue but no one seems to want to help me. I have paid a substancial amount of money for something that is not working and for well over 2 - 3 months I have tried to reach out to Brick HVAC to help solve the problem. It seems that they do not want to come back to my home and either properly fix this piece of equipment (which is malfunctioning due to installation company's negligence at installing it) or replace it with a properly functioning one. Numerous times they said they would come back and look at it again but I never get any phone calls or willingness for them to come back.Desired Settlement: Since Brick HVAC installed this system, and I have a 1 year labor warranty from ** manufacturer, this company needs to come out here and either properly fix this unit or remove this unit that they negligently installed and replace it with another unit. It seems that they just refuse to want to come back out here and correct this issue. They said they would send me a new remote controller, but I highly doubt that that is the issue. The company should come back and look at the main system again and fix it once and for all. I regret the decision for using Brick HVAC. Please, any assistance you can provide for me I would greatly appreciate. Thank you!
