Mark B[redacted] is a exceptional and honest individual. One Friday about a month ago, my sisters house developed a water leak and she had trouble shutting off the water. She saw Mark across the street working on a neighbors house and asked for help. Mark shut off the water and then went up into the attic and determined a rusted out galvanized water pipe was the cause (the house was built in 1972). He arranged to have one of his co business partners fix the leak the following morning. I met Mark the following Monday and asked him if he Re-Pipes houses. He said yes, and we arranged to re-pipe my sisters house. He handled the permits for Citrus Heights and over saw the project until completed. If you have any reservations regarding hiring a contractor, you will not with Mark. He is an upstanding guy that lives in the community and cares about others well being.

I have a 2-story home with a deck on the 2nd floor that had no access from the first floor. I needed stairs built to connect the deck to outside lower level. I also needed the exterior of the house painted. I received over 20 bids with a wide range of prices. Although Brickerson was not the cheapest or the highest bid, they provided me a detailed easy to read and understand bid. They came across as being professional and customer friendly. The permit process for the stairs was cumbersome and long. I appreciated their patience and tenacity in getting the design approved. This process delayed the start of the painting because I wanted the stairs built and approved before the painting could begin. The finished stairs was exceptional and beautifully made. The paint job was also great. I realize now that I had picked the right contractor and would strongly recommend them to everyone. There is no job too big or too small that they cannot handle. They are a credit to good contractors and are a good example on the professionalism in which consumers should expect. Anyone needing a contractor should consider Brickerson first.

Mark and his crew replaced and repaired some of the wood trim on my two-story house. He also installed a door on the side of my garage. He showed up when he said he would and his men did great work. His crew was efficient and did not disturb my family. Except for the pounding, I wouldn't know there were men working on my house. I was especially impressed with the caulking. They even caulked areas where they didn't replace wood. They checked with me to make sure I gave the job a thumbs-up before they left. I wanted some reinforcement under the threshold of the new door. They went right back to work reinforced the door to my satisfaction. All this at a very competitive price.

Since we live on the San Francisco Peninsula and would only be able to make a few weekend trips up, we took a huge leap of faith in handing the project over to [redacted] and his crew came through for us. They completed an almost total remodel in less than 6 weeks. [redacted] kept in touch through texts and phone calls, letting us know the progress (and inevitable setbacks) every step of the way. The quality of the workmanship set our property apart from others on the market and the proof is in how quickly ours sold; we had an offer two days after the first open house and closed escrow a month later.
We lucked out with this contractor — we know how quickly a project can sour with the wrong people working on it. If only we could persuade [redacted] to spend a week in the Bay Area and upgrade our baths. And maybe the kitchen... **
