I moved out of a Brickman building at the end of September 2014, having given the requisite 60-day notice that I would not be renewing my leaseMy roommate stayed on into February of and after a radiator broke and spewed hot dirty water all over, broke their lease when it wasn't addressed by management for nearly a week after they were notified\After that, I got a bill in the mail for breaking the lease early in February of 2015, almost months after I had moved outI responded and asked them to take my name off it and send the billing to the proper party, as I was not on the lease or living there anymoreI also included the information about my 60-day notice and vacating of the premises, which was all done according to leaseI never heard backFast-forward a few months later and they have referred BOTH myself and my former roommate to a collection agency for this debt that was incurred months after I had moved outNot only are they trying to charge me for something that happened when I was long gone, but they're trying to get both of us to pay the same debt (I assume therefore doubling their profits)My experience with Brickman RE has been AWFULThey haven't responded to my requests at all, and are trying to charge me money that I don't owe them! They're the worst and most disorganized landlords I've ever dealt with
