Initial Business Response /* (1000, 6, 2016/05/23) */
There was no contract for the job that's in questionOur warranty is for settling or drainage problemsThe job was complete and working when we leftActually is was working until she had an electrical problem in her garageHer breaker
kept blowing which is the same line that our transformer is onOur low voltage line fried out timesWe repaired it twice on our own time and moneyWe did not have to do it since it was not our faultI numerously explained this to her and told her that if this happens again that she would have to pay to have it fixedShe called late in the fall and I explained that we would come and fix it again but it would cost her $for a new transformerI talked to my foreman and his best guess is that the transformer probably went bad due to her recent electrical problemsI researched a bigger one and Lowe's had them 1/offShe said she was going to pay for one, so I explained that we are out of businessOn a personal noteThe woman is a drunkShe's constantly buzzed or high on her pain medsCheck HER record out, DUI's, constant complaints to you EVERY contractor she's had to work withShe called me times and left messages on my answering machine the day AFTER she contacted youShe swore at me and threatened meI NEVER told her we were bankruptShe's out of control and I fear for the safety of my workers around herWe will NOT be going back thereShe already called the police on a worker for inappropriately touching her(which I am sure it was alcohol related

*** *** stated: She is totally off the hook on thisMy mother is here at my house and she is such a frigging liarOh my GodAnd the guy, she talked me into this wallOh, you're going to this nice atmosphere and blah, blah, blah, cause her daughter was getting married or whateverAnd most of my lights don't workAnd my mom's second cousin, that lives down the street, he was here when some of this stuff was said/transpired
As far as the painter goes, you've got to be flipping kidding meYes, I had a situation happenNot with anyone elseI'm not like thatI'm a nice girlThing is, he was out of line and I never called the police on himThe only reason why I didn't have anyone to help me change the pad, because the guys doing work in my house had the door pad key number to get through my garage to get into my house, cause I had several doctor appointments(That is pretty much my life.) And I needed help changing itSo it was a non-emergency police department call
I did not file harassment or sexual harassment thingThis woman is off the hook, and one has nothing to do with the other
Not only to mention, her foreman, Dave, that installed the lights, he is not a certified electrician and they did not put the circuit board in with the circuit that was attached with my garageI had a problem with my garage door, my refrigerator, and the back of the houseAnd that was an outlet that got installed prior to her work and it got fixedShe was doing work, but the lighting part came in after the matter; cause she helped me move stuff to my grandmother's house so my food wouldn't spoil and stuffShe is not on the same outlet as that

Are you suggesting that I should be revising my complaint to suggest that Kelly took advantage of someone unable to make rational decisions rather than just seeking compensation for the improperly installed, overpriced,
illumination system?
I find it interesting to see that MsF* has chosen to make slanderous comments about me rather than to address the primary issue -- installation of a working illumination systemI was charged over $5,for yard
lightingKelly verbally stated that work included a year guaranteeEstimated lighting costs doubled because I was told that the proposed product was no longer availableMost products were was paid for months in advance and I received no invoices to support price changesThe system never worked correctly and I was told that I had
to buy more equipment to correct the problem and bankruptcy precluded any warranty supportHow could anyone like the person Kelly referenced even consider bankruptcy unless Kelly stated it?
My primary complaint concerns the lightingIndependent electricians have reviewed the work and concluded that it was not properly installedBricks and Stone not only doubled the cost of lights, without any supporting
documentation, but also used an unlicensed electrician to perform the installationAn electrician would have ensured the use of appropriate equipment and proper connectionsl should not have had to purchase any
additional equipment or paid for additional services to complete installation of the illumination system Kelly acknowledged was sold to provide me personal "enjoyment"The system cost me more than $5,plus
amounts paid to electricians to analyze the problemKelly stated that all work was guaranteed for yearsI am filing the complaint because she has not honored the promised warranty and because I have lost one half of the
warranty periodThis is the person with whom I maintained both a social and professional relationship that included many trips to
the local casino over yearsOur relationship cooled abruptly when decided not to pursue another project estimated to cost $80,to $120,for work Kelly admitted in front of witnesses would 'not add a penny to the
potential sale price of my property but would provide me enjoyment'- This is the person who had no problem taking tens of thousands of dollars from me for multiple projects- This is the same person who required cash
and/or personal checks in her name before any work was scheduled; who provided limited details on all invoices; who began many jobs months after payment and stated start times; and wh required additional payments to
cover multiple 'underestimates', This is also the same person who after seeing my bank statement sought more work and who asked me to obtain a Home Depot credit card for herBill details were often limited to unspecified
totals for labor and materialsI will request an audit to show that all appropriate city (Strongsville and Parma), Ohio, FICA, Medicare, and federal taxes were paid for all labor and profits associated with cash and personal check payments for work provided by Bricks and Stone and/or their independent subcontractors
Sincerely,

As I stated before the LOW VOLTAGE lighting system is not covered by a guaranteeOnly what is stated at the bottom of the contract which she signed on the other jobsLOW VOLTAGE does NOT require a certified electrician to do the work which she will find out when she makes her inquiries to the city of StrongsvilleHer transformer is probably blown due to her original electrical problem in her garageWe would of never left or had gotten paid if the lights didn't workThey were fine until this happenedAll she had to do was pay for a new transformer and we would have fixed the problem in OctoberRemember that we had already tried to fix it twice and stated that if the lights stopped working again that she would need to replace the transformerIn all the 16+ years we've been in business we have never came across this issueAnd as far as any of the money stories go, the reason(and it was up to her) the any money was paid months in advance was to save money on the materialsIt's called winter booking and suppliers offer this to distributors for savings on product over the winterI offered this to herAgain, this is all over a $bill she was warned she'd have to pay if the lights stopped working after the "free" fixesI am sorry that we can not use this beautiful job as a referenceIt was an exciting job to design and build but we will NOT be doing anymore work there
