In response to this complaint...We have been to this house to answer complaints times since the project was doneEvery time I asked *** to meet someone at the house and he claimed he couldn't be there and it should be obvious that we could see the issuesI kept imploring that he needed to be
there, and he became upset with me for that and became hostile on the phone. So everyone knows: This is a new construction house Majestic Exteriors did not frame the house, build the deck, or install the windows and doorsThe homeowner had his friend, and his friends buddy do all of the framing; which was done INCORRECTLY, THE DECK WAS FRAMED THE WRONG WAY TO THE HOUSENO FLASHING was ever installed (AS PER BUILDING CODE) by the framer, IN WHICH WE DID GO BACK IN AND INSTALL THESE FLASHINGS TO HELP HIM OUT AT NO COST, AND ALL the tail ends on the rafters were cut improperlyHis gutter issue is because the tail end of the rafters were cut, some long, some too short, some on angles giving a wave to his rear soffit and leaving one section of the soffit recessed behind the roof lineMajestic had brought this to his attention and we informed him that there is only so much that we can do to correct this for him at this point, and the homeowner tells us THAT WE SHOULD HAVE FIXED ALL HIS FAULTY FRAMING. The real problem is that, he can't get anyone to come back and fix anything, and he wants us to come back for free to fix everythingBecause, we are the only contractor that is still aroundThe strange thing is that the times we have been back there, we have taken apart the work where he claims there are leaks, we have detailed photos of allTHERE ARE NO LEAKS! There are no signs of leaking or damages in any of the projects that we have done, which was only roofing and sidingIt had boiled down to a point where the customer came into our office, unannounced and tried to have a physical altercation when I asked him to leaveThe receptionist was in fear for her safety, and I as wellThe police were called into this situation, and advised him to stay away from our office

Hello, to my knowledge the ridge caps on the roof have been replaced The ridge vent did not need to be replaced, it was the ridge caps The service call was done on September 16/2015.The consumer states that he has left messages, I did not receive any messages only that perhaps as we
have changed our address, maybe he did not have the new telephone number *** ***

I have reached out to the customer and have scheduled the repair to be done this week.last December, when the leaks were happening at the chimney, I had told the customer that we would definitely repair any damaged Sheetrock as needed but I also asked that the customer reach out to me after a few...

significant rainfalls to ensure that the leak was fixed. It is 5 months later that I have not heard from the customer until I read this complaint that he is still having a leak. Regardless it will be taken care of.thanks

Complaint: [redacted]After reading his response and finding this man a complete nutcase and liar and complete disgrace to any builder who does acceptable work, additional time is required on my part to end this.
