To whom this may concern; I want to take the time to applaud a member of your staffMsShawndaI am a local resident here in Myrtle Beach and I recently booked a staycation for my family and I for the weekend of Jan15th through the 17thMsShawnda took the time to go over options, alternatives, and put many of my worries at bay by offering strong customer service, and made me feel as important as a tourist spending over twice the amount that I was spending, not to mention it is January and most business' live off of the financial derivatives of our tourismAdditionally there was a bit of confusion on my end, and I called a member of her staff, and within a short period of time, MsShawnda called me back again, to aide me in my overzealous - controlling demeanorSomeone needs to recognize this woman, because that is one in a million instance and I am thrilled with her serviceI usually stay at Sea Crest every year for the same weekend, and my family uses Sea Crest too if they come to visit, or if we have corporate meetings and so forth, as they were great, however, they have now rivaled my business and anyone else's that I have referred their wayI am the General Manager of the MrRooter Plumbing in Myrtle Beach, and that wonderful lady had no idea who I was, or if I was rich/poor, it all was irrelevant, she just was herThat is a gift, a treasure among employers, and not that Crown Reef will ever need anything in regards to our plumbing services, however, if they happen too I have authorized a free membership for the entire propertyThank you very much, and I hope you all have the very best new year

I am writing you to report the absolute horrible service I received from Bridal Elegance in *** *** I purchased my daughters flower girl dress from Bridal Elegance and before she could even walk into the reception the middle of the dress fell apart I had to pin the entire middle of the dress so that my daughter could actually wear it for the rest of the night The applique on the belt of the dress also fell off I have pictures of what the dress looked like after about hours of my daughter wearing it I contacted the shop and was notified that I had to bring the dress in to show them what had happened They notified me when was a good time to bring it in I brought the dress to the shop on January *** and was notified when I arrived that I had to speak to Phyllis who is the owner of the boutiqueI was notified by the employees that she had not arrived yet and they were not sure when she would be in I then expressed the fact that I do not live close and that they should have told me on the telephone when I called to come later in the day They then said to leave the dress there and that Phyllis would contact me When Phyllis contacted me later that afternoon she was very rude and notified me that the dress was altered somewhere else and that there was nothing that she could do about it I told her that the only thing done on the dress was the hem and neither the waist or belt of the dress were touched Later in the day I called back and left a message with one of her employees to explain that I am very upset that she would not even call the manufacturer about a defect in the dress Phyllis never even had the common courtesy to return my call She instead called my sister in-law who is the brides mother about this matter That is beyond unprofessional considering I paid for my daughter dress and she is discussing my personal matter with someone who has nothing to do with the situation I then in turn wrote a negative review on their *** page and she deleted two of my comments She finally responded to one of my comments on *** basically threatening me and telling me I am not allowed back in her store to pick up a dress I paid forI am not putting in this complaint at this point to obtain any refund but rather to let the public know how poorly and unprofessionally this establishment operates

The dress was put on layaway 1/16/ We made special extended layaway plan for months instead of months to accomodate bride.The consultant that sold her the dress was her friend and also in her wedding She made sure everything was ok with dress and would not have offered
alterations, since Bridal Elegance does not provide them and we do not have an alterations deptin the store.The dress, like every other layaway, is immediately put in a cloth zip bag and placed with customer name on it in the layaway room hanging They are never touched after that Her friend (consultant) could vouch for that.Upon pickup in July, nothing was noted that there was a problem with the dress If there had been an issue, we could have resolved it at that time We have nothing noted that there was ever a phone call regarding this situation.Again, we can stress that no one tried on, wore, or altered this wedding gown while on layaway Thank You.*** ***, Bridal Manager, Bridal Elegance, Ottawa Location

I am rejecting this response because:  [redacted] G is dishonest.  Her responses are lies.  I did call before the wedding on 3 occasions.  Each time I was told all sales are final.  Your bridal consultant did the alterations at your shop while the dress was on lay away.  Stop the lies!!!!  Your business practices are dishonest.  I picked up the dress from your shop (my daughter wasn't with me to try it on). When she got the dress and tried it on, the dress had already been altered and damaged while still on lay away at your shop.  More Bridal Elegance customers need to complain about your unscrupulous business practices.  Where were you when I called the shop about the problems?  You should have been bending over back[redacted]s to make sure my daughter could wear the dress at her wedding.  You did not help in any way!  $1300 was paid to you and you did nothing to resolve the problem.  You caused additional financial damages because another dress had to be bought for my daughhter to wear.  You made a lot of money from all of the dresses the bridal party bought at your store and you care nothing about customer satisfaction.
