the bride came into my bridal shop around 5:45pm on Augwith her fiance and chidrenshe stated to my husband(*** that she had a problem with the gown
He informed of the probelm, when I asked her how I could help her, she stated, very
angerly that there were beads and the rings that went with her gown were missing, all this with out telling me her name and wedding date.I asked her for her name and wedding date and her receipt so I could pull her file
All she kept showing me was a cell phone photo of her gown with the linning that had pockets for the hoops and the area of the missing beadsNo problems were noted with the gown when it was received from the manufacture or when the dress was tried on
After getting the proper information I pulled her fileIt was charted on the file that she did not try on the gown at tha timeWe always ask our customers to try them on as a final check before it leaves the shopthe date on the file for pick up was 7/23/
I told her, when she asked about the hoop rings, that I have not sold a gown with hoops in yearsthe gown did not come with hoops, but I could get them if I had known ahead of time that she wanted them
As for the missing beads, I explained if I could look at the gown and see exactly what beads were needed ( as there ar many different shapes and sizes of beads, crystal and pearls) she stated that
she could not bring the gown here she left it at the alteration lady on Sunday
After the bride angerly left the shop her fiance and and the boys stay and he continued to argueSome of the customers in the store at that time told us that they could not believe their behavior
After they left I called Allure bridal and spoke to their representative, to ask about extra beads for that gownShe told me they do not keep extra beads for each bridal gown and they do not ship any extra beads with their gownsAllure asked if the gown was left out and does she need the waist trim or just extra beads? I told her that I did not see the gownshe also asked that without see the gown how could I help? cross referencing the beads from one gown to another is not possible without the manufactures item number for each type of bead and crystal on their gowns, they do not supply that information
The hangeing tg with style number, dress size color and company name is always removed, because of the size of teh tag makes it to difficult to try on teh gowns.all of the information -on the tag is also on the labels in side the gown, if a gown has extra beads we keep them on the seamtress department in case the are needed
I would like to talk to the brides alteration lady to see what we can work out with what items we hav in stock and resolve this problem

price tags are removed from all dresses and gowns at the time of the sale, this is our way of inventory controlthe price tag has the manufacture name, stock number, color, size and priceall of this information is on the buyers receiptthe price tag is replaced with a tag on the hanger that has the buyers name wedding date and all the above information except
the pricethat tag is removed when the dress is taken from the store
the couple of beads that were replace was done before the gown was place in the show room
when I talked with her fiance I said I thought it would be a good idea if her seamstress wouol contact me
as of today I have not heard from herwe would welcome her to our store to pick out the beads needed to fix the gown since the dress will not be brought here,
we would like to get this problem solved as soon as
possible
also Allure gowns have not sent extra beads on their gowns for several years
