Review: Ordered my wedding dress in February of 2014, In June of 2015 I was contacted that my dress had arrived to the bridal shop. I was unable to come in at this point because I was about to give birth, I called after having my son to make an appointment and was informed my dress, that I paid half of the cost of, was sent back to the designer and in order to have it shipped back to the bridal salon, I needed to pay the remaining balance. I paid the balance and was told my dress would arrive with in 2 business days, it took over a week to arrive because the owner never called for it to be shipped back. I made an appointment in August of 2015 to see the dress, upon trying it on, it was the wrong size. The paperwork I signed has my dress being a size 14, the salon ordered a size 12. The owner did not offer any explanation or apology for the issue. The gown cost $4,000.00 and was not correct. Second issue were seven bridesmaids dresses were ordered through this business and did not fit at all, all dresses needed to have extra material ordered and be re-made. Their issue consisted of the purchase of wedding shoes in august of 2014, Shoes were paid for in full but never ordered and the owner waited over a year to inform me and told me they could no longer be ordered. The customer service of the previous owner and new owners have been terrible. They have not offered any solution or formal apology for mistakes made on their part.Desired Settlement: I would like a partial refund for my $4000.00 wedding dress, in terms the money they made off of my purchase and a refund for all alterations to my wedding dress and the bridesmaids dresses.

We are the new owners of BT. As the customer knows, all her transactions happened before our recent purchase of the company. While we can't change the past, we have apologized to her and her mom for their experience. Here again, we apologize! FYI - In good faith, we did refund the money for her shoes that weren't ordered despite the fact that we did not have anything to do with it. This is the best we can do for this customer. Review: My daughter and I went to bridal trousseau when it was located in [redacted] CT a few months back and put a $625 downpayment on a bridal gown which the company was supposedly ordering. The company has moved to [redacted] CT. I have attempted to contact them during normal business hours, but have received no return phone call. The number I called was ###-###-####. Initially, the answering machine said, "you have reached The Bridal Trousseau, we have a new locations and here is our telephone number ###-###-####.......... (this is an abbreviated version of the message). Today when I attempted to call them again, it is a generic message machine, saying the party I am trying to reach is not available. I am concerned that the deposit has been lost at this point and I am concerned because they are not calling me back.Desired Settlement: I would like confirmation that the shop is still in existence and are able to order my daugher's gown and be available when I call them for fittings etc.

Every customer that put a deposit on a gown will get their gowns as promised by the former BT. Please call our new number or walk into our new location during business hours: Tuesday to Friday noon to 7 pm or Saturday 10 to 3pm. No need for alarms.
