Review: I purchased a voucher for their Exterior Window Cleaning offer on May 11, 2013 from [redacted] on the internet.This offer is listed as a $200.00 value for $99.00 which I prepaid.I made an appointment for service to be done Wed. Oct. 9th, 2013.They did not show, nor did they call. Since then I have called and left messages on their answering machine at least 6 times...and have never received a call back, nor any response from them.This offer expires November 14,2013.I have yet to speak to anyone that has even heard of this company.And it was only today, thanks to your website, that I even knew the correct name and address of this company. as the voucher only has BGWB window washing. I am unable to find a listing in the phone book for them..Thank you so much.[redacted]Desired Settlement: Having had extremely poor and unprofessional 'contact' with this company, I don't feel confident that they would even do a good job cleaning my windows.Therefore I just want my $99.00 returned as soon as possible.Thank you so much.

I would not recommend this business for ANY reason. We hired [redacted] to clean our outside windows. We were not going to be home when he cleaned them, so we left a check for him under the front mat. He cleaned all but two windows. When we got home, we called him to see why he had not finished the job. He said he was called away for an emergency and that he would come back the next day, finish the two windows, and leave a receipt under the mat. The next day came and went. On the third day, we called and left a message. He called back but the story was now different as to why he had to leave unexpectedly on the first day. We told him we still expected him to come out and clean the last two windows. However, on the fourth day, still no [redacted]. However, our check was cashed on that day. So bottom line, the job was not completed, [redacted] cashed our check for a job unfulfilled, and we had no receipt.

As a side note, before knowing [redacted] was not going to return to finish the job, I had passed his name on to a friend. They had an appointment scheduled (that same fourth day) at 9:00. At 10:30, [redacted] called my friend and said he was running late for their 10:00 appointment. After relaying our saga to her, she told him not to bother coming.

Again, I would NOT recommend this business for ANY reason.

I had used Bride and Groom with a Broom for the past 4 years and was satisfied with their service. I had even given [redacted] name to friends. Last Oct. [redacted] approached me with a special deal, prepay for a year and receive a discount. I paid him and received a receipt. He did not come in January or the following months. I started calling him in April, only to get his answering machine. I continued to call and leave messages. In May he answered the phone and told me that his wife was pregnant and was having problems but would get my windows washed by the weekend. He did not show and he has not answered my calls since. I am very disappointed in this young man and his business. I would like to have my $150 refunded.

In September of 2012 he offered a special allowing me to make a single payment in advance for washing my windows quarterly thoughout the calendar year 2013. I paid for the 2013 service September 30, 2012. For which he gave me a receipt and a contract. So far this year (2013) I have called several times leaving a message on his ansering service, and sent several e-mails to arrange for him to wash my windows. In the latest e-mail at that point, I had asked for a refund as I had received no service. He responded to that e-mail saying he was sorry and claimed his phone wasn't working and didn't get the phone messages. By this time it was well into the calendar year 2013. At that point We set up an appointment for him to wash the windows. This was late in June. He did not show up or call. I called and e-mail him again and got no response. I suspected he was screening my calls. In July I had someone else call on my behalf. He did answer that call, but when he was told they were calling on my behalf he quickly ended the call. I have not been able to contact him since. The bottom line I paid him in advance to wash my windows four times during the year 2013 and he has not provided that service to date.Desired Settlement: Refund $200.00 Paid September 30, 2012 for 2013 window washing service not provided.

Review: In January I prepaid for quarterly window washing for an entire year from Bride and Groom With a Broom. I received a written receipt and a verbal agreement that if his work wasn't satisfactory, I would receive a refund. Approx 2 weeks later Joshua washed my windows, as scheduled. A couple of windows still appeared streaky, so I asked him to rewash them, which he cheerfully did. A short while later I spoke to him as he was washing windows at an aquaintance's home. On all occasions, his demeaner was polite and professional. However mid-April when my windows hadn't yet received their spring washing I called him to ask when he would be coming. He informed me that he was recovering from pneumonia, and that he should be out to wash them by the weekend. He didn't show up. Approx 2 weeks later I called him and asked why they weren't yet washed. He told me that he was well now and should be able to wash my windows some time that weekend. (We even spoke of his wife and child who also were recovering from pneumonia.) When the windows still weren't washed yet on May 8th, and he had made no attempt to call me, I called him to see what the problem was. He informed me that my name was 'on a list that "accidentally" got thrown away', but that he would be coming out the next day to do the work. (Obviously, he doesn't record details from phone conversations; nor does he keep a schedule of when his customers are due for his services! The customer should not have to call to have the work done!!) This week I've called him twice, and received his answering machine both times. He has not returned either call. What saddens me most is that Joshua presented himself as a Christian man, even telling me where he attends church. As a Christian I will forgive him for his deceipt, but I do expect a refund of the unfilled services, as per our agreement.Desired Settlement: I expect him to refund $90 for the remainder of the contract for the remaining 3 window washings.

I had prior experience with this young man and was satisfied for the most part. In January he came by and cleaned the windows and offered a "special" if I prepaid. I paid for that days cleaning and 2 more. He said he would be back in a few minutes with a contract and a reciept. He did not come back and will not respond to telephone messages. I am very dissapointed that he would do business this way. I am sure that the negative publicity that he will generate will far outweigh the $80 that he scammed me out of.
