On 11/16/Ms [redacted] and her friend dropped off a [redacted] lawnmower [redacted] (She also dropped off a trimmer for re-inspection) The initial problem reported with the lawnmower, according to customer, “Unit making loud /rough sound” which was reported on the repair Claim Ticket [redacted] Please note that Ms [redacted] was adamant when she first dropped off her lawnmower, that she wanted another one because the warranty on the lawnmower was to expire soon She made the same request about the trimmer, that it should be replaced On 11/18/2016, the Service Center (***) responded with a request for a diagnosis and parts list on the unit Provider responded that same day with “Engine Started OK – could not detect loud/rough sound coming from engine Found engine to be low in oil and fill to proper level – Unit running OK” On 11/23/2016, provider was contacted by Service Center that Ms [redacted] did not have warranty on her lawnmower and that Center notified customer of same I called Ms [redacted] to make her aware of this and that the unit was ready to be picked up Also note that we did not charge Ms [redacted] for servicing her unit that was out of warranty.On or about 12/15/2016, Ms [redacted] called to make arrangements to pick up her lawnmower and trimmer She expressed that fact that she was a very busy doctor and could only pick up on Saturday sometime after 4:30pm, I told her that we closed at 3:00pm on Saturdays and in order to accommodate her, I told her I would give her my cell number and to call me when she was on her way to pick up her units, so I could be at the shop Ms [redacted] called at around 4:45pm on 12/17/to notify me that she was on her way to pick up her units When she arrived, she stood in her pickup truck for about to minutes on her cell phone then stepped out and signed the pick sheet for her units As we proceeded to load the lawnmower unto the pickup truck, she expressed that this was not her lawnmower that her lawnmower was “green” and that something was wrong I checked the model and serial numbers on the lawnmower against the [redacted] Go Local Claim Ticket and the numbers matched This was expressed to the customer I told her that if she was not satisfied, that she could take it up with [redacted] directly, that as far as we were concerned, that was the unit that was dropped off back on 11/16/ Ms [redacted] took the lawnmower and trimmer with her and at about 5:10pm that same day, called me to accuse me of having changed lawnmowers on her I told her that was absurd and that she should take up any concerns with [redacted] directly.This provider has acted in good faith and has gone out of the way to accommodate this customer She came in from the beginning with the mindset that she was going to get a new lawnmower, when she found out she had no warranty, the accusations followed A complete Claim Report for this unit repair is on file for the Revdex.com to review, if requested
