Bridge Creek

This apartment is owned by Avenue5 who continues to disregard our messages. My other complaint to Avenue5 directly was marked off by them as "I'm not one of their customers" although I somehow have an invalid debt from them and they refuse to discuss it and direct me to the company they sold the debt to so they can try and force me to pay it without hearing my dispute. The company "lost" our parting papers that discussed the end of the lease deal which detailed there would be no additional finance responsibilities. Somehow those papers were lost and they don't find that concerning and fired that previous manager but for some reason they won't provide any assistance on removing this debt because their standard practice is to not inform you that they will be charging you for your utilities which are apparently charged two months behind. Additionally they never reached out to me when they had my new address and phone number, they instantly sold that debt off to a collector without contacting me, and in less than 30 days of the balance being owed. No assistance and instantly push you towards a company that acts like mobsters trying to collect a street debt.

I believe this company is corrupt and the worse possible choice to get tangled up in, in terms of apartments. My partner and I have lived in 2 of their apartment locations and both have been grossly mishandled. The first doesnt even have the paperwork for my partner's move out filed what so ever and never provided this to him either. Along with that that apartment claimed he owed money but never sent anything to him to make him aware of this and then before 31 days after the move out date sent it to collections and refuses to assist in the confusion. Together we lived in the second one and again after we moved out they claimed we owed a months worth of rent, this was also inaccurate. Their billing department not only refused to send the proper documentation to the rent bureau to clear up the situation, they also hung up on both my partner and I and refused to give the billing managers contact information. We tracked this down ourselves with the help of the internet and the manager did provide rent bureau with the documentation. But refuses to provide us a copy of this documentation for our own records in the future. At this point the billing manager, Mike Good, has approved billing department fielding our calls and refuses to further assist in any form to clearing up the misunderstanding with my partners first apartment, Bridge Creek, and still refuses to provide our rental history to us. My best advise is to never get involved with this company. It appears their practice is to not properly document anything and this will ruin your rental history.
