We try and ensure that the vehicles we sell are safe and mechanically soundHowever we cannot always guarantee continued performance on a vehicle that is years old and more than 100,milesWe empathize with customers who have mechanical issues after purchasing the vehicle, however this vehicle was sold with over 100,miles at the time of saleExtended warranties are available to purchase only and are not included in the saleThis was an "as is" saleMost of our service work is outsourcedWe do a substantial amount of business with several repair facilities in the area so we are often able to negotiate discount prices for repair services for our customers but without a warranty they would still have to pay out of pocket for any requested repairs that are not included as part of the original saleTell us why here

I spoke with Mr [redacted] shortly after he received his registration documents and apologized for the DMV error and let him know that we would have it corrected for himCustomer seemed very understanding and stated that he would withdraw his complaintSince then, the DMV file has been correctedPlease close this complaint as resolved

We have attempted to resolve this matter in good faith with Miss ***She was advised by her issuing bank that our dealership never cashed any check drawn on her accountIt is a cashier's check scheduled to expire and become invalid after days of issueAt that point the money would be credited back to her bank account as if the check were never issuedMeanwhile the dealership would go unpaidEven though we have not been paid for the vehicle, Miss *** has had the vehicle in her possession and I have been willing to give her the title to the vehicle provided she sign a document agreeing to remit the $once the day period has expiredMiss [redacted] has no additional financial risk because if the Cashier's check is discovered and cashed by our dealership then it would have to occur prior to the days and at that point the agreement would be satisfied and Miss *** would owe nothingIt has been more than days already and no check has been cashedWe are not seeking double payment and we are not requesting that Miss Helm endure any financial hardship by paying us now and awaiting the expiration date of her Cashier's Check to be reimbursed by her bankWe have agreed to assume the risk and wait until the expiration period to be paidMiss *** refused to sign the document and insists on getting the title to the vehicle

On May 19, I spoke to this customer and she confirmed that she wanted the mirror mailed to her homeThe mirror was mailed and delivered to the customer shortly after this confirmationPlease close this complaint as resolvedTell us why here

The dealer is requiring that I sign a promissory note with Bridge Dealer Services as well as the Retail Installment and Security Agreement The Retail Installment and Security Agreement can be sold to another lender I would then be responsible for paying off the amount written in the Retail agreement as well as paying off the promissory note I could possibly be liable for paying for the car twice Regards, [redacted] ***

We prepared and submitted proper documentation for title and registration to the NY agency for this customer's vehicleA minor clerical error was made by the DMV agency on the color section of the vehicleVehicle was registered and titled to customerWe offered to handle the correction on this customer's behalfI just confirmed with my title department that the customer never returned the title document to us for correctionIt's a very minor and common error and very easily correctedVehicle was titled and registered so service was performed and completed

Mr [redacted] called in to inquire about a Land Rover that was available for sale at the timeHe told our office that he was minutes awayHe did not have a scheduled appointment nor did he leave any prior deposit to hold the vehicleWe advised him that there were other parties interested in the vehicle but that at the moment it was still available as no deal had yet been finalizedThis was around 10amPrior to Mr[redacted] arrival another customer finalized their purchase of the vehicleOur office called his cell phone around 10:30am and also sent a text message to inform Mr[redacted] that the vehicle was no longer available and had been soldMr*** did not answer the phone nor did he respond to the textHe showed up at the dealership and was very irate and demanded to see the ownerThe manager on duty attempted to assist Mr***Mr *** was verbally abusive to the staff and he leftI have attached a screenshot of the text message that were sent to Mr [redacted] within minutes of the initial text communication clearly explaining that the vehicle was sold and no longer available
