Review: [redacted] was asked to tack down shingles on my house roof. Also included was the service of cleaning the gutters of my home. After inspecting my roof and popped shingles, Mr. [redacted] said he would be able to tack them down and clean the gutters. He quoted a price of $1265.00 for entire job -$800 for shingles, $125.00 for cleaning gutters,$15.00 for a gutter elbow, $200.00.00 to caulk flashings and boots, and #125.00 to repair gutter seams. He asked for half of the quote. totaling $632,50 (personal check #[redacted]) This was on October 9, 2014. After cleaning gutters and replacing one elbow, Mr. [redacted] informed me that he could not tack shingles because of rotting wood beneath them. I asked him twice to take pictures with his phone so I could see the rotting wood. He never did. I also informed him that I would be getting numerous bids for the roof repairs. I also told him that he could return check when the roofing matter was resolved. Little did I know that he had already cashed the check. I received three other bids within two days,choosing another company for the job. All of the contractors making bids found NO signs of rotting wood! After calling Mr. [redacted] to inform him of my decision and make arrangements for my check to be returned and payment to be made for work completed by him, I could only talk to his answering machine. I have since spent everyday calling him , saying I would gladly pay for services rendered ($140.00), but expected the rest of my money returned as soon as possible It has now been six (6)days since I have talked to Mr. [redacted]. He has refused to answer his phone OR return my calls. Calling his cell (###-###-####) at least three times a day has become annoying. Mr. [redacted] owes me $492.50 for services never completed. I thought he was an honest man who would do the right thing and not keep money not earned.Any help you can provide will be greatly appreciated! Litigation is a real possibility, but the Revdex.com has been highly recommended by many friends. I would like a check or cash for the total of $492.50 sent to me as soon as possible.I have also called the [redacted] with whom Mr. [redacted] is insured. The call was made on October 16. I spoke with [redacted] who, after hearing my problem, said he would contact Mr. [redacted] and ask him to return my money. Mr. [redacted]'s number is ###-###-####. Thank you
